Billie Joe and Adie...A Bond That Will Rock On Forever!, chapter 10
<p>The Book mobile stuttered across the highway from Minesota to California; Tre was hitting a plate with his drumstick's and Mike was leaning over the front seat casually chatting to Tre's dad. (who had already driven from Oakland to get the guys) As Tre carried out the little beats on the plate Billie and him were singing little parody songs of Queen and Guns n Roses, it wasn't like Billie had forgotten about Adrienne, they were still a couple madly in love with each other, but their relationship was going to be hard to keep together. Despite this somehow, in his head Billie believed him and Adie could do it, they had something special.<br />"Ummmm Guys???" interupted Tre, "We might have to make a little pittstop soon.....ummmm again."<br />"You gotta pee???" predicted Mike, sighing. Tre had made friends with this guy back in Mineapolis who was involved with this dodgy buisness deal selling home brewed energy drinks. He had asked Tre to take a couple hundered back home and sell them. Of course Tre didn't intend on delivering the drinks so instead the guys tried to see how many bottle of the shit they could drink on the journey, which had consequenses.<br />Tre's dad pulled into a gas station and Tre sprinted across the busy road for the portable toilets the other side of the road, Mike went in to get some Coffee so Billie casually hung around waiting, it looked as is they were in the middle of knowhere, they were surrounded by grey motorway. Then something caught the corner of Billies eye, a phone booth. Should he call Adie? It had only been one day since he said goodbye, but Billie wanted to hear her voice, Adie always made Billie laugh and he was feeling down at that moment, restless from all the driving. Billie walked over to the phone-booth and dailed Adie's number which he had memorised). Adrienne picked up.<br />"Hey Adie!" said Billie happily.<br />"Hi Billie! I miss you so much, are in Cali now?"asked Adie.<br />"Not quiet, I think we've got a couple of hour's left... I miss you so much you wouldn't believe!!" Billie heard Tre straining inside the portaloo "Make that a couple hundered hour's left!!"<br />Adie laughed! "So who's drank the most energy drinks so far, let me guess? TRE!!!" she continued.<br />
"You guessed right!" said Billie. He saw Tre emerge from the toilet looking pained.<br />"Awwww i gotta go now! I'll call you as soon as I get home" sighed Billie.<br />"O.K, I love you" said Adrienne.<br />"I love you too" replied Billie putting the phone down, he wanted to talk for longer but he had to go, this put him in a VERY bad mood.<br /> Mike, Tre and Tre's dad were waiting patiently in the van for him. Billie climbed in silently, looking slightly angry.<br /> "Anyone got a beer???" ordered Billie "And a cigarette" he added. He wanted to be with Adrienne, why the fuck should he have to drive all the way across the country back and forth to see her.<br />"Guys, I don't want you smoking in here," shouted Tre's dad from the front. Billie lit one up anyway, but Mike and Tre glared at him. Tre's dad was giving up his own time to cart them up and down the country, so Billie put it out and decided to write a song, that vented some of his cooked up anger out.</p>
<p>Before they knew it they had arrived back home in Oakland. Billie and Tre were sharing this small basement in East Berkley, while Mike was living out of a van. Mike went to go see his Mom and family so Billie and Tre walked across the quiet, grey suburban streets to their apartment (or basement, more like it) to drop of their stuff before heading up to Larry Livermoor's house to talk about the album.</p>
<p>When they arrived they found that the door was smashed open and it looked like a gang of crusty punks has squatted in their place while they were away and stolen all their records, clothes and money.<br />"Shit," gasped Billie Joe standing in the door way and looking at the trashed room.<br />"Noooooo" cried Tre, taking a more humorus and dramatic reaction to the incident "All my love letters are going to end up on the internet!!!" yelled Tre bending down on his knees dramaticly. Billie lets out a grunt of laughter but was to pissed off to deal with Tre's antics!<br />"Well I guess thats it?" sighed Billie, he couln't be bothered with what had happened, in a way he half expected it. Tre stood up and frowned.<br />"Fuck it! lets go over to Larry's and make an album!!!!"</p>
<p>Mike was already at Larry's house and playing with his big dogs, Billie had always been scared of those dogs, back when John was in the band Green day would sometimes have to sleep in the van outside Larry's house, but they were to scared of going out in the night to pee because of the dogs, there were BIG consiquences!<br /> They all talked a bit with Larry Livermoor about how the Minnesota tour went and Lookout records, the new songs and all that junk.
Green day played some of the new material for Larry and as soon as he heard the first verse of the first song he knew this was an album that was way bigger than he had ever done before. Once they had finished Billie ran into Larry's house and rang Adrienne.</p>
