Billie Joe and Adie...A Bond That Will Rock On Forever!, chapter 7
Billie grabbed Adie from the moshpit and ran with her across the stage, they hid behind the curtains laughing, the crowd were quickly dissappearing and there were only about 15 people left. Adrienne looked at her whatch.
"Well, its 3:00am so they'll be leaving soon" she smiled. Billie stood there staring and smiling at her and she stared back. She was so beautiful, the most beautiful girl Billie had ever seen. Her hair was dark and still in dreads and she had the most beautiful eyes, she looked so different to when he had seen her a couple of years ago. Billie had been calling her every day on the trip up to Mineapollis.
"Hey Bill!" said Tre walking in with (yet another) can of beer, he looked at Adrienne "This that girl you've got the hots for?" Billie felt embarrassed but managed to wipe it off.
"OK, um good show Tre, this is my friend Adrienne." She smiled at Tre.
"What happened to John?" she asked.
"Oh he turned into me" Joked Tre (still with no pants on) Adie laughed and turned her head to look at Billie again who was getting two beers from the fridge. "You guys wanna meet my friends?" she said breaking the silence.
"Sure!" replied Billie and Tre. And they wondered out of the dining room. The crowd had completely gone apart from a small group of about 10 crusty punks in the corner of the room scattered around the chairs, completely wasted. Mike was with them, chatting up on of the girls.
"Hey Cassey!" shouted Adie to the girl Mike was talking to. She turned her head and screamed, running towards Adrienne with her arms wide open. "I didn't know you were going to turn up! How long has it been since I saw you!" cried Adrienne hugging her. Billie stood there drinking his beer.
"Oh Cass, this is Billie, do you remeber him from last year?" said Adrienne introducing Billie. Billie smiled but Cassey looked at him awkwardly. The next thing she slapped him across the face.
"What the fuck do you think you were playing at? You got the police after me AGAIN!" she yelled.
"Owch" said Billie rubbing his red cheek. "You were the first name that came to my head, how was supposed to know you'd ran away?" grumbled Billie. Adrienne put her arm around him "You OK?" she said leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Cassey, how many times have I told you about your anger?" she sighed gently hitting cassey around the head. Everyone laughed. Billie went to sit down on one of the couches and lit up a joint, Adrienne plonked herself next to Billie and he put his arm around her.
"Your on the rebound quickly arn't ya Adie?" said one of the boys sitting next to Tre. Adrienne took the joint from Billie."But it was quiet a rough breakup you had with Tim wasn't it ?" said the guy again.
"What, No, me and Billie are just good friends that havn't seen each other in a while she smiled punching Billies arm jokingly."Me and Tim did have something special but that slimeball's history!"
"Hey, is it 'Beat up Billie' day today or something" he laughed punching Adie back.
"Ah!" smiled Adie "Never hit a girl!"
"Or what?"
"They'll do this to you!" she said pouring the rest of her beer on Billie head. Billie grabbed her and pushed her back on the sofa, he took his beer and poured it on her. Next thing, everyone was jumping around splashing alcohol on each other. the Tre got his lighter and set himself on fire. As the sun rose everyone was all over the place, a good friend of Adie's named Spike (who to start with scared Billie) had brought a supply of drugs so around 5:00am the crowd decided to go skinny dipping in the lake behind the building.
Billie forced his eyes open, he felt like they had been clamped togeather with glue and his head way spinning inside the brightly lit up room.
"Hi," whispered Adrienne. Her and Billie were still naked and were tucked under a sheet. He knew he hadn't had sex with her, infact since him and Adie met last night they had been nothing more than good friends, nothing romantic was happening. Was that all she saw him as??? Mike was lying on his face flat out, and Cassey had drawn all over him with a black pen (she was curled up in a ball with the pen in her mouth) Billie and Adie giggled to themselves and Adrienn put her finger through billie's and they held hands, curled up together on the sofa, whatching the sun rise through the window opposite them.
Tre started to grumble and stretch. Billie and Adie held their breath, they were enjoying the peace together soooo much and it was a know fact that once Tre had woken up, the word Peace no longer had a meaning.
"C'mon," hissed Billie. Him and Adrienne wrapped the sheet around themselves and tiptoed into the kitchen. She sat on the kitchin table with the sheet around her while Billie raided the fridge. "I'm starving he said, whats your favourite cereal?" he asked, his head in the cupboard now. Adrienne laughed "Don't make fun of me but, um fruit loop's."
"Why would I make fun? fruit loops rock!" Laughed Billie, as he poured two bowles of them and went to sit next to Adrienne on the table (naked)
"Thanks" she said and they were silent as they ate their breakfast. But suddenly Billie put his cereal down and looked at Adie, she looked at him too.
