Breaking up The Band, chapter 11

-After the concert (finally)-
-Billie's POV-

"So, who knows to play the guitar? Anyone?"I shouted.

Several hands went up.

One girl, hiding in the corner, her hand up, flashing a perfect pearly-white smile at me, stood out the most. She had long brown hair that circled her face in little ringlets and was wearing a pair of ripped and torn jeans and a plain black tee.

"Come up." I said, beckoning to her.

"Me?"She mouthed.

I nodded.

She climbed up the stairs. "What's your name?" I asked.

"Adrienne, but please call me Adie." She said. Her voice was shaking.

"Alright."I said, handing her Blue.

-Back at the bus-
-Lia's POV-

I shouldn't have stayed behind. Here I was, stuck watching a stupid commercial on a small black-and-white screen while eating popcorn. Well, you couldn't call it popcorn, it was really stale.

The door of the bus burst open. Tre walked in and sat on the bunk bed I was watching the television from."Some girl named Adie and a couple of other people stayed behind.. they played a song on the stage.Billie played some song for Adie.." he said, helping himself to a handful of popcorn.

"Ha. So they're still backstage?" I asked, preoccupying myself with watching the dancing hot-dog on the television screen."Wait, did you say Adie?"

"They're still backstage.Yeah, I said Adie." He said." Damn, this popcorn's stale."

"All we had." I said. "Adie.. that's my sister's name."

"Gah." He said irritably, getting up from the bed. "Maybe it is her."

"Y'know Tre, I know you hate me and all, but, I think you're a pretty good drummer." I blurted out.

Tre stopped in his tracks and gave me an odd look." Who says I hate you? I just rather dislike you, thats all.. We can still get along.. Sort of."
