Breaking up The Band, chapter 13
On my own here we go
-The next day-
-Lia's POV-
It seemed most people were asleep. Billie Joe was snoring softly, so it seemed Tre didn't kill him after all. I was the only one awake, sitting on the floor of the bus and quietly thinking.
I liked Billie Joe but Tre was my favorite band member, and then again if I was really odded out I might've even fancied Mike at one point. So awkward how you couldn't make a desision...
Billie Joe stirred in his sleep, interrupting my thoughts. I looked over at him just as his eyes fluttered open. He sat up." Lia?" He asked, rubbing his eyes." Is that you? Oh, damn, I have a headache..."
I tossed him a bottle of asprin that was next to him on the floor. He unscrewed it, popped a few pills in his mouth, and said," So, what's up? How are you?"
"I'm fine." I said. He moved closer to me.
"Lia, I have something to tell you... I lo-love you.." He said softly.
I couldn't say anything. I was caught up in the spur of the moment, the sweet bliss...
Billie leant forward and kissed me. But, seeing the look on my face, he drew back in shock.
"Oh god, I shouldn't have done that.. I'm probably still drunk, forgive me L-"Billie mumbled. I cut him off by pressing a finger to his mouth.
"It's okay.. I love you too.." I said, hugging him. He caressed the side of my face with his hand.
I felt relieved. My decision had been made so quickly..
-Adie's POV-
I woke up and looked around the room. Lia and Billie Joe were hugging in the middle of the floor, next to a bottle of pills. I felt a twang of jealousy. My sister who was a few years younger than me was good enough for Billie Joe but I wasn't?
I pretended to be asleep. Lia and Billie Joe broke apart, and went into separate parts of the room.
-Lia's POV-
Somehow, even though I told Billie I loved him, I wasn't sure.
There was a longing in the back of my mind, for something, something I didn't know about. I couldn't tell what it was, but I knew I wanted it.
Who was it? Or what was it?
