Accident at the Square, chapter 4
"What? I fainted?!?" Heather ask," Yeah, fell right to the ground," Angie said, smiling," How long was I out?" Heather asked," Long enough for me to probably scare the hell out of Billie Joe..." Angie said and shrugged. Heather stared hard at Angie," What...?" She asked, confused. Angie shook her head, thinking of it as a joke.
"Look, if you want to go to school so bad, you can, I'm just going to go to the gas sation or something..." Angie said. Heather nodded, still utterly confuesed.
***After school***
"Gosh, where the hell is she?" Heather said aloud, wondering where Angie could be," She better not be getting high at some gas station... Oh crap," Heather said. Heather ran to the sidewalk, trying to get a ride to the nearest gas station.
Finally, some car slowed down. Heather got in the passenger side," Thank you so much," she said, shutting the door," Where do you need to go?" the driver asked as he started the car again," The nearest gas station would be good," Heather said.
After a few minutes of silence, the driver spoke up," So... What's your name?" he asked," Heather... Your's?" she said, smiling slightly," Mike," he said. Heather nodded, then turned to him, wide-eyed.
No... It couldn't be a poser. There's got to be millions of Mike's out there who look familar like that... Heather thought," You know... You look kinda familiar.." she tested," I do?" he asked. She nodded slight. Maybe it's not a poser... Good! Heather thought, then smiled," Hey... Mind if I ask your last name?" Heather asked. Mike nodded," Yeah... I guess... It's Pritchard," he said," What?!?" Heather asked, her voice craking a bit," What?" Mike asked, turning to her. He swerved to the other lane without knowing, a car headed straight for them," HOLY CRAP! THERE'S ANOTHER CAR!" Heather screamed.
Mike looked towards the rode again," SHIT!" she said, turning the wheel. He flew on the sidewalk, the other car hitting the side Heather was on.
