Only of You, chapter 2
***Billie Joe's POV***
"Uh, Tre, where you going?" I asked nervoulsly. "To Pizza Hut. Duh!" he said as he got in his car. When he closed the door I said to Mike, "Mike we got to do all we can to stop Tre from going to Pizza Hut." "But what?" "I don't know yet. I'll think of something though."
We got in my car and drove to the police station. We told them to through a block party on every street for the next hour so we can get back to Pizza Hut before Tre. They agreed and we hurried off to Pizza Hut to check how everybody was doing.
About 20 minutes later we got back to Pizza Hut and checked it out. Everybody was done fixing the place up for Tre's birthday bash. When I looked the new drum set wasn't in there.
"Where the fuck is the drum set? I told you to put it out before I left." "Oh. We didn't hear you. Sorry, Billie Joe."
I then pondered for a moment.
"Just get it out. Please. I am trying to make this one better than the last 12 ones that were complete screw-ups." They went to go get the drums and I went back out and hopped in the car. "Mike. You coming?" I yelled as I started up the car. "Coming," he said as he walked toward the car.
We got to where they were gonna have the block party and saw that the people were going crazy. "What the hell is going on?!" I asked the police officer. "Well, they think you're gonna play here and they went totally balistic when they found out you weren't." "Damn it!" I said under my breath. "Well can you have them just go home? The party is ready for Tre." "OK. Will do." "Thanks."
We got back to the party before Tre and saw the drums neatly on the stage with a big black and red ribbon around the cymbals. And it also had a tag that said, 'To Tre, love all. ' I then saw his kids walk in. "Hey Frankito. Hey Ramona. Ready to have fun?" "You bet Billie Joe!" they both said excitedly. "Good. When your dad gets here, the fun will start." "Yay!" they both cheered. I looked outside and saw Tre pull up. "Everybody hide!" I yelled. "And turn out the lights!"
One person turned out the lights and then everybody found a place to hide.
But what happened next I about went crazy.
