Blue Eyed Miracle, chapter 6
Mike and I got dressed and I was still nervous about Tony coming over. I didn't know what to do. Mike could tell I was still nervous, so he came over and hugged me.
"Thanks." I replied
"For the hug? Your welcome."
"Yes the hug, but also for everything else. All I've ever wanted was affection and to know someone loved me." He pulled back and kissed then hugged me once again. Then Sweet Child came over and started to lick my leg. I looked down then I remembered something.
"Oh, I have to go buy dog food."
"Ok, I'll come with you." So I grabbed my purse and we headed out the door. Since the store wasn't very far away we decided to walk. We entered the little convience store and headed for the pet aisle. When we were looking at all the different kinds of food, we were discussing how we shouldn't buy Iams because of their cruelty and then I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Isn't nice to see a familiar face?"
"Tony?"
"You know it. So, how's it going?"
"Oh, just fine," I said with a little spitefulness, "let me introduce you to my boyfriend. Mike this is Tony. Tony this is Mike."
"Nice to meet you mike."
"Yeah, same." Mike and Tony shook hands and I saw Tony look over at me in a very weird, evil way.
"You know I do miss you," Tony said as he put his thumb on my chin. I pulled away quickly and Mike grabbed me, "I guess I'll talk to you later." and he walked away.
"Wow, he's a real creep." Mike said still holding me.
"Yeah, that was weird. He was never like that except for when he hit me." Mike and I got the dog food and a bowl with some toys for Sweet Child and went home. When we walked in I poured Sweet Child some food and sat down on the couch.
"I don't think it would be smart to talk to Tony later today." I said
"Yeah, probably not."
"What if he flips and tries to break in or something when we tell him off?"
"I'll be here to protect you! I promise he won't hurt you!" I smiled and gave him a kiss. We decided we would go out for some lunch, so we headed out the door once again. We walked to a little café/bakery store on the corner. We sat down and ordered and stuff and started to talk. We were talking about The Clash and how awesome we thought they were.
"You know, someday I want to open a little café/dinner and I'll name it Rudy's Can't Fail." Mike said while stirring his coffee.
"That would be amazing! I would so eat there!" I said with a smile.
"Really? I would serve all the classics and it would be decorated with the oddest things."
"Yeah, that's totally awesome! I really hope you get to open that!" Then the lady brought us our food. We talked about the café/dinner idea some more then we went back to my place.
"That was a good lunch." I said
"Yeah, it was. It was so much better that you were there." Mike said as he put his arms around me. We started to kiss as we heard a knock on the door. I went over and looked through the peephole. It was Tony.
