Always Remember Me, chapter 17

Tre' and Mike stood there in shock.
"I kind of thought she looked like you..." Tre' said over the silence.
Then there was a knock on the door. Billie grabbed my hand and squeezed it. He walked to the door with me, just to be at my side.
I opened the door and there stood an older looking woman with a purse.
I let her in and I called Michelle.
Michelle slowly walked down the stairs and put on her shoes. She grabbed the ladies hand and walked away with her.
"We have the night too ourselves."
"How did you know too call the baby sitting service?"
"I needed to be at home without a kid for one night."
"ahh, I see." Billie replied.
"Let's get the show on the road...if you know what I mean." Tre' cut in pulling out beers.
We all smiled, turned on some music and drank beer all night.

I woke up late that morning with someones arm wrapped around my waist. I quickly tried to sit up, but the pain in my head was too severe.
"What the hell happened last night." I whispered to myseslf.
Then I felt someone nuzzle my neck, and I noticed it was Billie. I gave a sigh of relief when I noticed I still had clothes on. I pushed Billie over and struggled to get out of bed to get some asprin.
As I walked out of the door I heard a big thud coming from my bedroom. I groaned and walked back into my room, and there was Billie trying to get off the ground with the towel wrapped around his waist. Smiling I watched Billie try to get up, because he seemed to be naked. "Lookin for you clothes?" I laughed. I pointed to the window and there they were lying right beside it. He fell over again when I spoke and I started to laugh. He cutley grinned at me. "Screw it." He dropped and towel, got up and walked over to me. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me on the cheek.
"Billie put some clothes on. There are other guys in the house you know."
"So," he shrugged, "Its not like they've never seen me naked before."
He walked out the my bedroom door and into the kitchen.
"Thanks for the rude awakening Billie." Tre mumbled.
"No problem."
I slowly walked downstairs rubbing my head. To see Tre' and Mike sitting on the couch together with a blanket wrapped around them.
I blocked out the disturbing possibility for them to do something last night and reached for the asprin in my cupboard. I got everyone a glass full of orange juice and a pill.
"What do you guys want to eat."
"I have no clue." Mike said staring at me.
I tried avoiding his glance but he kept smiling at me.
"SO Dani. You have fun last night?" Tre' said smirking.
"Yup...," Then I glanced at Billie's naked body, "But, me and Billie did nothing if that's what you were wondering."
Tre' looked a little disappointed, "What about you Tre' and Mike?"
I shot back at him smirking.
I could see Billie was trying not to laugh, which made me laugh even harder. Walking over to the cupboard Tre' and Mike turned on the t.v while I made them some eggs and bacon. As I flipped the eggs Billie came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me and kissed me.
A wave of guilt swept over me remembering that Billie had a family.
"Billie, does your wife know where you are?"
He slowly started to let go of me and he nodded.
"Yeah." He walked over to the couch and sat down.
"Billie! Let me put down a plastic bag or something first."
"Tsk tsk!" Billie said standing up and Mike and Tre' grinning.
I got an old shopping bag and I put it down on the couch. He sat down and watched t.v with Mike and Tre'.
Setting the bacon and eggs on the table the doorbell rang. The guys not noticing the doorbell ring I ran to open the door. There was a package at the door for me. I set the package on the table and answered the ringing phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi..this is Dani right?"
"Yes, may I ask who this is?"
"Oh, right. This is Adrienne. Billie Joe's wife.."
"Oh, ok. Do you want to talk to him?"
"Yes please."
I put the phone up to my hand.
"Billie, it's Adrienne."
Billie swallowed hard and answered the phone in a cheery voice. He hung up the phone the same tone as when he had answered it.
"She just wanted to know when I'd be home. I said I didn't know."
"Okay. You guys wanna go do something? Like to the arcade or something."
Just as I finished talking Tre' ran upstairs to get changed. Then Billie then slowly Mike started walking towards the stairs.
"Mike... You know I still have feelings for you right. And I assure you me and Billie did nothing last night."
He stood in front of me and then leaned in and kissed me. I dropped the towel in my hand and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Let's go Da-" Billie stopped at the end of the stairs and me and Mike pulled away quickly.
"Why do I always got to walk in when that happens." Billie whispered to himself almost in tears. He walked over to the front door and slid on his shoes and jacket.

-Coming home from the Arcade-

Tre' threw us all a beer and we drank at least four, so we were a little crazy. That's when I knew I should never have let Billie have any beer.
I stood in front of Tre' and Mike talking to them, when Billie came up behind me and started to hump me.
"Billie, stop it." I said angrily.
I turned around and pushed him away. He had the look of hurt in his eyes.
I grabbed a few more beers and then I pulled Billie up to my bedroom. We wrapped our arms around each other and kissed each other for minutes on end. Billie pulled off his shirt then his pants, revealing only his boxers. Then the doorbell rang. I could tell Billie wasn't drunk at all, even I could see it when I felt a bit loopy.
I ran downstairs and opened the front door. And too my horror it was Adrienne.
She smiled and wondered if Billie was there. His kids missed him, and they wanted him to come home.
"It's Billie's birthday in two days."
"Oh yeah! I replied. Trying to make everything sound normal.
Billie came thumping down the stairs with his hair a mess and his nothing but boxers on.
When he saw Adrienne he stopped for a moment.
"Adie!" He ran over to her and hugged her. When she saw Billie I could tell she knew something was up. Her face went pale, and she didn't hug him back much.
"Billie get some clothes on, your coming home.


*Billie's POV*

Dani waved goodbye to me with a look of guilt on her face. I got into the car and sat beside Adrienne.
We drove home in silence, probably because we don't know what just happened.
Silently we walked inside our house and I was greeted by two smiling young boys. I gave them a hug and a kiss then walked upstairs to find Adie.
Slowly opening my bedroom door I saw a sobbing Adrienne.
"Adie what's wrong?"
"Whats wrong," She quietly repeated, "What the hell do you think is wrong!?" She said raising her voice.
"I-I don't know."
"Don't go all innocent with me Billie Joe Armstrong."
"What did I do!?"
"You don't think I knew that you and that Dani girl were up to something? You came running downstairs after her with nothing but boxers on Billie!?"
"We did nothing. I just... ."
"Just what!? I know you went to the arcade! You wouldn't have gone in your BOXERS!"
"Adie I can explain."
"I can see it. You think about her, and you dream about her. You know you talk in your sleep, you say her name. You day dream about her. I can tell."
"Adie... .I..I thought you were out with William..?"
She started to bawl her eyes out.
"Adie, I would never lie to you. We didn't do anything. I promise you." I said leaving out the fact that we had a kid.
"Y-You didn't do anything?"
"No Adie. I love you so much. And even if I tried to when I was drunk, she pushed me away cause she knew I was drunk."
"I'm so sorry Billie.."
"Theres nothing too be sorry about."
"No, there is... something you don't know."
"What Adie? You can tell me."
Just then I heard a young child start to cry. I got up from the bed and ran downstairs to find Jakob sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor.
"Whats wrong buddy?"
"You and mommy were fighting."
"Noo, we were just having a conversation."
He looked at me blankly. "You know, we were talking."
"It sounded like a pretty loud talk to me."
Joey replied interrupting. He glared at me then ran up to his room.
I felt a pain of guilt run through me. I wasn't just hurting Adrienne when I was with Dani, I was hurting Joey and Jakob as well. I never thought it would affect them.
Adrienne came slowly walking down the stairs.
"We will finish this talk later. But for now we need to plan your party."
"Adie, why wont you tell me?"
Just then we heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it."
"No, I'll get it." Adrienne said looking me in the eye. I quickly ran halfway upstairs to make sure it wasn't any crazy fans.
"Hey Jody!" Adrienne said opening up the door.
"Dexter! Tommy!" Jakob said happily. Joey came walking down the stairs and grinned. Dexter was his best friend. And Tommy was Jakob's best friend.
"The boys were wondering if Joey and Jakob could come over and play."
Adrienne nodded at Jody.
"Thanks mom!" Joey and Jakob grabbed a jacket and put on their shoes.
I slowly came down the stairs and wrapped my arm around Adrienne.
"Hey Billie." Jody always seemed a little shy when I was around.
"Hey Jody. Whats up?"
"Nothin, just out with the boys." She blushed.
Adrienne wasn't much of a Jody fan.
"Alright. See you guys later then." I hugged Jakob, but Joey avoided me and ran away with Dexter and Tommy.
We waved our goodbyes and closed the door.
"You know William, Jody's husband?"
"Yeah." I replied. I sat her down on the couch in the living room and calmed her down as she started to cry again.
"You know I love you soo much Billie and I would never do anything to hurt you..?"
"Of course."
"I thought you were cheating on me with Dani so I took out my anger. To get you off my mind I went and saw William."
"What do you mean." I said fearfully."
"We weren't even drunk. I was so angry at you Billie. William was there for me. And I... ..we... ." She broke out into fierce tears.
I dropped my arms away from her as she sat there and cried.
Tears started rolling down my cheeks. Shocked, confused and angry at the same time I just sat there and watched her cry.
After I thought about it I had done the same thing to her with Dani, but it wasn't for anger, it was for love. And I had sex with Dani twice, not only once.
"Adrienne. I'll be back in a bit."
I slowly kissed her on the cheek and went for a walk. I had a lot on my mind now, and I didn't know what to tell Adrienne. I didn't know if I should choose one of them. I didn't know if I should choose neither of them. But for now I will stick with one of the two women I love, Adrienne. And yet, Dani has Mike. So shouldn't I be happy for her?
