2000 light years away was just a phase!, chapter 1
I had sent the boys with a note to school saying they must come home an hour early. Billie was coming home today. I wanted them to help me get everything ready. Joey ran in and got changed.
"Hey Joe joe!" I said to the nine year old.
"Hi mommy."
"Weres Jakob?" I asked.
15 minutes had past by and still no sign of Jakob. A heard a knock at the door.
God I hope it was him. It wasnt.
"Billie"I said hugging my husband. I took a closer look. It didnt take a genius to no he was drunk. I sighed. I grabbed Joeys hand not saying another 2 words to my husband and got in the car. Joey was waving at Billie.
"Adie baby I'm home. I'm back. Its me!" Billie yelled. I got out the car and slammed the door. I shoved him in the back and strapped him in as if he was a little kid.
He fell asleep as soon as he got in. I lay his head on the car door so he was facing down.
"Why have you done that?" Joey asked.
"So he doesnt drown in his own sick." I said.
An hour passed by and still no Jakob. I was really starting to panic. Were would a seven year old go? I drove to the ruff part of town. There he was being pushed around by some 6th graders. I got out of the car and ran up to Jakob hugging him.
"You ok sweety!" I said kissing his forhead. Billie must have woke up. He ran out the car to us.
"Ok Jakob." He tried to pick him up but I snatched him away.
"I can not believe you." I yelled at him. I wanted to cry. I'm not shore why. It was our first night together in ages and he's ruined it. I got back in the car.
The kids that were bullying jake were laughing. I started walking up to them.
I really wanted to smack one of em. There only dumm kids but it was one of those days. I took a deep breath and got in the car.
"I will make it up to you tonight hon." Billie whispered in my ear. I looked at him smirking. He had such a cute face. How could I be angry at... I'm a push over!
He kissed me. I got butterflys in my stomach like I did when I first heard 2000 light years away.
We got home the boys had gone to bed. Our alone time. We had both drunk loads but I started to notice Billie had more then he usually did. I grabbed a beer and gulped it back giggling.
"WOW You can knock some back!" Billie laughed watching me throw the can across the room.
"Well I had more to drink since u been gone!" I laughed.
I climbed across him kissing him. It was a weird kiss because we were both giggling.
"Welcome home." I said undressing him."
"Thank you! This is a very friendly welcome home. Hope yoy not like this with all our visitors." Billie laughed.
