Shivers And Passion, chapter 1
Mike entered the living room where he could see Holly and Tré drunk as a nutball. They had been up all night since it was Holly's birthday. Holly looked up at Mike still laughing from the night she was awake.
"What you guys up to?" Mike sighed picking up all of the empty and drippy beer cans, candy wrappers and potatoe chips packets.
"Oh, nothing..." Tré giggled.
"Yeah..." Holly repeated, her eyes almost bursting.
"Oh, well. You guys are idiots anyway, not to mention random. Hey, you seen Billie Joe? He and Adrienne didn't come back from 'The Brew Chimer' last night", Mike said while standing still. Holly stood up and answered:
"No, haven't seen him or 80. They might be in the same position as Tré and I, only in the street!" Holly was so drunk that she was cracking up.
"Pfft! Go and have a lay down Holl-Obrain! You're scaring me!" Mike pretended to stutter. Tré stood up and moved for Holly to sit down. Without a thought she grabbed her phone which was muffled between the cushions on the sofa.
"Whatcha doin'?" asked Mike and Tré.
"I'm gonna call Billie Joe..." She said. But she was interuppted by Mike.
"What if he doesn't answer, Hol?"
"Let me finish! I'm gonna call Billie Joe, and if that doesn't work, I'll call 80, simple as that!"
Tré nodded and Mike repeated.
Holly dialed Billie Joe's cell phone number. There was no answer. She was getting a bit nervous.
"Well...?" Mike asked.
"No."
She then dialed Adrienne's cell phone number. Adrienne picked up.
"Hello?" Adrienne said.
"80! I'm so glad to hear your voice! Where's Billie Joe? Mike, Tré and I are wondering where you two have been all night." Holly was so glad to get an answer.
"Oh, Him. He's lost his phone. We'll be home soon if you're wondering."
"Adrienne, you sound nervous. Is everything alright?"
"Oh sure...great..."
"Whatever, see you later."
"Bye."
"Bye." Holly hung up the phone.
"Soooo....?" Tré Trumpeted.
"They'll be home soon," Holly grinned.
"Ok," Mike sighed.
Holly was worried all day about Adrienne and Billie Joe. They didn't come home for hours...Little did she know something in her life would pop up and make things worse...
