Couldn't Imagine Life With You, chapter 2
The pictures were of me and him in bars, playing our instruments together, or just hanging out. I was trying to hold my excitement inside. I was so happy, I mean a dream come true! I wake up next to Mike Dirnt and these pictures say I've been with him for quite awhile! We turned the page and saw a wedding picture! Both Mike and my eyes went wide. There was a picture of him and I getting married! Then we saw a picture of us playing with a newborn baby, we both assumed was the little girl we saw earlier. Under the picture it said 'Alex', I assumed that it was short for Alexandra. We both looked up at each other in total surprise. What the fuck seriously happened! I sat down opposite of Mike at the island.
"Coffee?" He asked, heading towards the coffee maker.
"Um... Yeah, sure." He sat a cup in front of me. I had my hands through my hair in deep thought. "I seriously don't remember any of that!"
"Yeah, me neither. I remember going to bed alone in my house, and next thing I know I'm waking up next to someone I don't know, in a different house, with a kid in my house." Just then there was a knock on the door. I got up and answered it. There standing in front of me was Billie Joe Armstrong!
"Hi!" He said and I stepped out of the way so he could walk in. He walked over to Mike and sat next to him, and I sat where I was sitting before.
"So buddy, ready to head to the recording studio?" Billie said, putting his elbows on the counter and looking over at Mike.
"I guess so. See if it could clear my mind." He said finishing off the rest of his coffee. Mike smiled at me and walked out the door with Billie.
*Mike's point of view*
"Whoa! You didn't even hug her when you left!" Billie said sounding surprised.
"Ok Billie, I don't know who she is. I woke up this morning with her in bed with me."
"Oh, come on! You know her! You guys fell madly in love, got married, had a kid. You guys always looked happy together!"
"See, I don't remember any of that! All I remember is that I went to bed alone in my house, and I wake up next to her, in a different house, with a kid!"
"Ok Mike, you're starting to scare me!" Mike just leaned back and gave up on arguing with Billie. It seemed everyone knew about them being together except them themselves!
