Why are you in my life?, chapter 3
"Finally I found you! Jesus your like Tre' when he sees a bar!" Billie said walking to Mike's side. "Hey B. J." Mike said smiling at his friend. "Hey, who's this?" He asked staring at me. "Oh, this is Ashlee. My new friend. You can't have her!" Mike said. "Chill dude. I just came in here to look for some new guitars." Billie said as he walked off. He was now in his own little place called Billie's perfect Guitar land. Mike looked at his watch and said, "Hey Billie we gotta me Tre' at the bar in like ten minutes." Billie looked up. "Oh okay, lets go." he said. "So I'll see you later?" Mike said hopfully. "Yeah, sure." I said nodding my head. "Okay, Bye." he said waving. "Bye." I repeated. I worked until about 7 and I finally got off. "Okay, I'm outta here. Bye Riverz." I said pulling on my coat. "Bye." He said. I walked out the door and walked back to Anna's apartment.
I knocked on the door and she answered. "Hey Anna, wheres my kid?" I asked. "Oh wait here." She said running to the back. She came back holding her, she was asleep. "She was an angle as always." Anna said handing her to me. "Yeah, Thanks Anna Banana." I said walking away. I walked to our apartment and put Emma in her room. I walked into the living room and turned on the TV. I fell asleep again. I woke up aroud midnight, Emma was crying. I walked into her room rubbing my eyes. I picked her up. "Shh... Emma its okay." I murmered as I walked into the kitchen. I warmed her a bottle and sat down on the couch. Finally she fell back to sleep. I brought her back into her room and realized I had a message. It was from Mike. I checked it and he said that he wanted to see me tomorrow for a date.
"Awww, he's so cute." I whispered to myself before heading off to my room. I fell onto my bed and covered myself up with the blankets. I woke up the next morning around eight, Emma was still asleep. I got into the shower and got dressed in Black dickies and a Black Spaghetti strap shirt. I dried and brushed my hair. I put on Mascara and Eye liner. Finally when I was ready, Emma was awake. She's quiet in the mornings, most of the time she'll just lay there until I pick her up. "Hey baby." I said as I picked her up. I walked out into the kitchen and fed her a bottle. Then there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" I yelled. Who ever it was walked in. Mike walked into the kitchen where I was sitting and smiled. "I knew you lived here." He said. "Mike? What are you doing here?" I asked standing up. "You ask that alot." He said smiling. "Well wouldn't you if I were standing in your house?" I asked. "Eh, I guess," he said, "Hey is that Emma?"
"Oh, yeah, this is her." I said. "Aww she's cute." He said. "Thanks." I said. "So seriously, when are we going on our date?" He asked. "We can go after I get Emma ready. An early date." I said. "Okay, I can help get her ready." he offered. "'Kay." I said. I gave her a bath and Mike picked out her clothes. "Everythings black in here." he said. "Well yeah, just look at me." I said. He finally settled on Black and Pink track pants and a pink shirt. "Pink! Ewww!" I said putting a diaper on her. "Oh hush, Pink isn't that bad." He said. "It sucks." I grumbled. Once she was dressed, I decided to call Riverz and ask him to baby sit. "Here, can you hold her for a sec?" I asked. "Uh yeah." He said holding his arms out. I gave her to him and called Riverz. He said yes so now I had to get my shoes on. "Okay Riverz'll be here in a couple minutes." I said. "Okay." He was still holding her. I put my Chucks on and me and him watched TV. Finally Riv came and we were off. "So where to?" he asked as we walked down the stairs. "Umm I dunno." I said. "Lets go eat, I'm hungry." He said. "Okay." I said. When we reached the outside Mike grabbed my hand.
I knocked on the door and she answered. "Hey Anna, wheres my kid?" I asked. "Oh wait here." She said running to the back. She came back holding her, she was asleep. "She was an angle as always."
