Why are you in my life?, chapter 7
Mike drove like a fucking crazy man to the place where we were supposed to pick up Emma. "Um Mike, Are you sure this is the place?" I asked when we pulled up to a couple of abandon buildings. "Thats what the guys said." he said, looking out the window. He parked and we got out. "Well, well, well...You actually came..." A voice said from behind a building. Me and Mike turned around, to see a figure dressed in black. "Who are you?" Mike asked. "Your worst nightmare." It cracked.
"Wheres Emma?!" Mike asked more defensivly. "Oh you want your baby girl do you? Well here she is." The figure pulled out Emma from behind. She was crying. "Emma!!" I cried. "Leave her alone! Shes just a baby!" Mike yelled. "And I was just a fan!!" The figure chuckled.
"Look, I can understand you being a dedictated fan but you've taken it too far!" Mike said. "Poor little Emma, She wants her mommy, and daddy Dirnt..." It chuckled again. "Ugh, Who the hell are you?!!" Mike asked again. The figure looked straight ahead at me and Mike, she pulled off her hood from her head. She was a young girl, maybe about 16 or 17. She had brown hair and bleached White eyes.
She was as plale as a tissue and as skinny as a popsicle stick. "My names Lannie." She hissed. "Well Lannie, give me back Emma." Mike said stepping forward. "Nope, You ignored me at your concert." She said, smiling evily. "What are you talking about? I've never seen you before in my life!!" Mike said. "Think Michael, Think..." She chuckled.
"I don't remember you..." Mike's voice trailed as Emma screamed louder. "Emma..." I whispered. "Just give her back and I'll-I'll give you an autograph?" Mike offered. "An autograph? Ha! That's the last thing that was on my mind." She said. "Anything! I'll give you anything!!" he pleaded. "Give me your shoe." She said. "What?" Mike asked. "Give me your shoe." She repeated. "Uh, Okay." Mike took his shoe off and handed it to her.
She examined it and smiled. "Okay, here take your rat child." She said throwing Emma to Mike. She ran off carrying Mike's shoe. "Emma! Oh my god you're back..." I yelled taking Emma from Mike. I held her so tight I thought she was gonna die. "Ma, Ike..." She muttered. Her tears calmed. "Damn, all that for a shoe." Mike finally said.
