What Mysterious Figure?, chapter 1
It's 9 a.m. and Adrienne Armstrong was downstairs in the kitchen deciding what to make her husband and 2 boys for breakfast. She decided she would make them pancakes. Not long after she was done making breakfast, Joey and Jakob tiredly came down the stairs and ate. When Joey and Jakob were done eating they decided to get ready to start the day, luckily for them it was a Saturday so there was no school. Adrienne couldn't wait for Billie Joe to get up because he returned last night from many months of touring and she really wanted to spend family time together with him and their boys.
Later Billie Joe got up and went to the kitchen to eat his breakfast, when he entered the kitchen he greeted his wife with a loving hug and a kiss full of passion.
"Well good morning to you too sunshine." Giggled Adrienne. Billie Joe smiled and asked, "So what do you want to do today with the boys?"
"I don't know. I was thinking we could just spend time here together."
"Sounds good to me. I'll go see what the boys want to do here."
Billie Joe ventured up to his sons' rooms and asked what they wanted to do. While Adrienne was downstairs reading the newspaper she could here Joey and Jakob bickering about they were going to do and she laughed to herself.
"I wanna play soccer and go swimming." Said Joey
"No! I wanna watch a movie!" protested Jakob
"Soccer!"
"Movie!"
"Hey. Calm down. We'll play soccer and go swimming first while its still light outside and we'll watch a movie tonight. Okay?" Said Billie Joe as he broke up the fight and silently laughed at his sons fighting.
"Okay." Replied the boys in unison.
Adrienne sat outside as she watched Joey and Jakob beat their father in a soccer match.
"YAY! We win!" yelled Jakob giving Joey a high five.
"Yeah yeah. Don't get too excited cause next time you two are going down." Laughed Billie Joe as he tackled his sons to the ground and began tickling them.
Adrienne couldn't help but smile as she watched Billie Joe, Joey, and Jakob finish their tickle war. They all decided to go ahead and swim for a few hours.
After they ate dinner they began to watch the movie. They started watching The Lion King at about 7 o' clock. About half way through the movie Billie Joe thought he heard someone outside in the bushes, but quickly decided it was his imagination and he didn't want to frighten Adrienne and the boys over nothing. Then Adrienne heard something and looked out the window and saw something walk by it. She nudged Billie Joe and whispered to him that she heard something and saw something walk by the window. Billie then told her it was nothing and not to worry and that she would always be safe in his arms. She smiled and continued watching the movie.
After the movie ended there were more noises heard outside and a knock on the door. Billie Joe carefully went to open the door while Adrienne and the boys sat and watched him open it. What they saw as he opened the door scared them all shit-less.
