What Mysterious Figure?, chapter 10
When Mike, Adrienne, and Tre saw the doctor they all stood up hoping for good news.
"How is he?" Asked Adrienne
"He's fine. He has a few broken ribs and some cuts and bruises, but he'll be fine in a few weeks." Replied the doctor.
"Can we go see him?" Adrienne asked.
"He has asked that only a Mr. Tre Cool see him first, then the rest of you."
"Can I go in now?" Asked Tre. The doctor nodded and Tre entered. He instantly began crying again seeing his best friend in this condition. Billie heard Tre come in and began talking to him.
"Tre? Come here I wanna talk to you. Don't be upset."
"BJ I am so sorry. This is my entire fault. I read the note and it made me realize what a dick I was... " Billie cut him off there.
"You weren't a dick. It was all my fault. Do not blame yourself. I just called you in here to apologize again hoping you would forgive me. I really am sorry. I can't stress that enough. I really mean it."
"I do forgive you."
"Thanks Tre. And Iwant you to know that I really did mean everything I said, about you being like a brother to me and all. It was all true. I wanted to thank you for always being there for me."
"Well, I'd do anything for a best friend. Besides, I know you would do the same for me BJ"
Billie and Tre then embraced in a friendly hug, and then Tre went to go get Mike and Adrienne. They all talked until a nurse came and said visiting hours were over.
"Wait before you go, when can I come home?" asked Billie
"Umm... they said you could leave in a few weeks." Replied Adrienne
"You're fucking shitting me? I have to stay in this place for a few weeks?"
"We'll bring you real food and stuff." Said Mike laughing a bit. Billie thanked them.
"Hey BJ. Would you consider keeping that sexy gown you got on?" Jokingly asked Tre, winking.
"Yeah Tre. I'll keep it just for you." Laughed Billie Joe.
Three weeks had gone by slowly and painfully. Billie was just thankful they went by. They all decided to head to Billie and Adie's house, but when they arrived they saw something that none of them had expected.
