What Mysterious Figure?, chapter 4
It had been a couple of days since Billie and Adrienne had pulled their pranks and still neither Mike or Tre had tried to prank them back. They were beginning to wonder what was up. A week passed and Billie Joe and Adrienne had stopped thinking about the pranks and just went on like everything was normal. Until they heard strong, forceful knocks on their front door. Adrienne went and opened the door, because Billie and their sons were playing outside in the swimming pool, and there stood the police.
"Hello officer. Can I help you? " Asked Adrienne
"Yes, does a Mr. Billie Joe Armstrong live here?" Adrienne replied and took the officer out back to where Billie was. Adrienne then gathered the boys and took them inside because she didn't know what was going and she didn't her boys to worry.
"Hello Mr. Armstrong. I'm Officer Egberts."
"Hi. What's going on?" asked Billie Joe confused.
"Well, we got an anonymous call stating you had a large stash of marijuana. Is this true?"
"No officer, it's not. My friends and I are in the middle of a prank war and I can guarantee this a prank of theirs." Billie Joe said with an attitude because he was pissed that either Mike or Tre had gotten the police involved.
"Mr. Armstrong, you need to lose the attitude. We take calls like this very seriously so we are going to need to search the house for the drug. I will warn you that if we find what we're here looking for, you will be charged with possession of a controlled substance."
"Fine. Search everything, you won't find a fuckin thing."
After searching the house, the cars, and the rest of the property, Officer Egberts left empty handed. When Adrienne found out what was going she was shocked as well. That same night Tre called and asked how the inspection went and was laughing his ass off as Billie Joe told him what went down.
The next day the Armstrong family went on a picnic for lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon at the park. When they arrived home, all the windows on the first stories of their house were covered in salad dressing. As was Adrienne's car since they rode in Billie's. This didn't piss Billie off as much as the prank with the police did, but it didn't exactly please him because now he had to clean the entire first floor exterior. He knew Mike did this.
After cleaning the house and Adrienne's car Billie Joe decided he would go for a walk to cool off. He had been walking for about a half an hour when he ran in to someone.
"Sorry." Billie said, then looked up. "Oh my God, Mike I want to fucking hurt you so bad. "
"So, I guess you saw the salad dressing. It didn't ruin anything did it? I didn't even think about that until after I did it." Billie Joe shook his head.
"No, it didn't ruin anything."
Mike and Billie Joe talked for a while until Billie Joe decided he should head home since he didn't tell Adrienne he was going for a walk, he didn't want her to worry.
When he arrived home, Adrienne was thankful to see him since she had no idea he left and he didn't take his cell phone, but Billie was less than pleased when he found out what Adrienne had done.
