What Mysterious Figure?, chapter 9
Tre,
I really am truly sorry about everything I did. I had no right to write what I wrote, and I want you to know that I could never and will never feel as though you are a bad drummer or that you don't belong in the band. You are a large of the band and Mike nor I would never be where we are today without you. I will never forgive myself if you don't forgive me. I screwed up and you deserve to never speak to me again. I brought this to you early this morning before I left. I have decided to go ahead and give you some space, so I am heading home.

Tre instantly forgave Billie knowing that he knew what he did was wrong and that he was truly sorry. Tre knew that Billie wouldn't be home yet so he called his cell phone. There was no answer, which was weird since he always answered his phone. Tre called Adrienne next to see if he had arrived home early. Neither Adrienne nor Mike had heard from Billie either. Tre got worried and decided to check out of the hotel and return home. But on his way home he would look for Billie because he knew something was wrong, he could feel it. Almost halfway home he saw what looked like Billie's car off the side of the road. Tre pulled over and realized it was Billie and he had been in an accident. Tre called 911 and the ambulance got there and raced him to the hospital. Tre took his car to the hospital and called Adie to tell her what happened.
"Hello?" answered Adrienne
"Hey Adie. It's Tre. You need down to the hospital quick."
"Tre, why? What happened?"
"Billie was in an accident. His car ran off the side of the road. Hurry."
"Okay bye."
With that he hung up and headed for the hospital. Adie arrived not long after Tre and she had called Mike so he would also arrive soon. Tre ran over to Adie in tears.
"Adie I am so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. I should have just forgiven him. If I hadn't been such an ass he wouldn't be in this mess." By now Tre was sobbing uncontrollably.
"Tre it wasn't your fault, and don't ever think it was. Okay? He'll be fine." Adie wasn't sure if she was trying to convince Tre or herself.
Mike arrived and Adie explained everything considering Tre was still very upset. Finally a doctor came out to give them the news.
