What The Flip?!, chapter 1
'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Young 12-year-old Nicole was lying in her bed, staring at the ceiling, wide awake, wondering about what she was going to get for Christmas the next day. Hopefully, a computer, or tickets to see Green Day live. Her eyes eventually became heavy, and she fell asleep.
The next morning when she woke up, she sat up and yawned.
''Holy crap it's Christmas!'' She said. She put on her slippers, and ran into the living room, where the family was waiting. Her younger sister came in shortly, and they began to open their presents.
''Yes!'' Nicole said while taking the new drumsticks out of her stalking, which happened to be Tre Cool's line of drumsticks. She set them aside, and continued to unwrap gifts. When she opened a smallish box, inside were four tickets to see Green Day live the next weekend. She smiled, and said,
''Who got these for me?''
''Look on the label.'' Her Mom said. She looked, and it said it was from Green Day.
''Mom that is your flipping handwriting, it's not really from them.''
''There's something else in there too.'' Nicole looked back in the box, and there was a card. It read,
Dear Nicole:
Once you're done unwrapping all of your presents, come out to the computer room.

Billie Joe, Mike, & Tre
Nicole looked at the card strangely, then read it again. That wasn't her Mom's handwriting.
''What the flip?!''
''Let me read it.'' Nicole handed the card over, and her Mom said,
''Are you done opening stuff?''
''Yeah.''
''Well, go on out there!''
''Uhh...okay.''
Nicole got up, and walked out to the computer room. She opened the door slowly, and walked in slow too. All there was a new computer, with a red bow on it. She ran over to it, and there was a tag. It said,
Merry Christmas!
P.S. Get dressed and go outside and over to the mailbox.
Nicole raised an eyebrow, and took the tag off and went back into the living room. She showed everyone the tag, and her Grandma said,
''Well, Nicole get dressed and go to the mailbox!'' So, Nicole got one of the new outfits she got, and got dressed and ready. Once she was done, she put on a jacket and went outside and over to the mailbox. By it, was her CRF50. On it was another tag. It read,
Put on your helmet and gloves, and ride over to the skatepark.
Her helmet and gloves were there, so she put them on, got on the 50 and rode over to the skatepark. Once she got there, her boyfriend Tyler was there. She went over to him, and said,
''Have you been doing all of this?''
''Nope. They have.'' He pointed over to the quarter pipe behind her, and Billie Joe, Mike and Tre were sitting on their bikes by it. Nicole looked back at Tyler, and said,
''You have got to be kidding me.''
''I kid you not.'' She looked back at Green Day, then back at Tyler, then back at Green Day. They were watching, and Billie motioned for her to come over. Nicole got wide-eyed, and rode over.
''Merry Christmas!'' All three said.
''What the heck is going on?'' All three had red bows on their heads.
''We're some of your Christmas presents.'' Tre said. Nicole raised an eyebrow, and shook her head and said,
''I have got to be dreaming. Wake up Nicole, wake up! This can't be happening.''
''Uhh, you're not dreaming.'' Billie said.
''I've gotta be! But just to make sure...'' She then poked Mike in the head to see if she was dreaming.
''Holy crap! I'm not!'' Tyler walked over and he said, ''Merry Christmas Nicole.''
''Wait.....Tyler you arranged this?!'' He nodded, and she hugged him.
''Oh my god thank you so flipping much!''
''Your welcome.''
''Okay it's kinda coldish, can we go back inside?'' Mike said. Nicole nodded, and said, ''So.....Tyler is this the whole present or...what?''
''Oh I forgot to tell you. They're gonna stay at your house for the rest of the vacation.'' Nicole smiled and said,
''That's shweetness!'' She hugged Tyler again, and Mike said,
''Are we gonna go or not?''
''God Mike will you shut up?!'' Billie said. Nicole laughed and said,
''Yes we'll go back now. Need a ride home Tyler?''
''No, my Dad's coming to get me.''
''Okay. Bye.'' She gave him another hug, and led Green Day back to her house. Once they got back, they walked inside, everyone's jaw dropped. Nicole's sister Jenna, stuttered,
''Billie...M...Mike...T...Tre OMIGOD!'' She then ran over to them and hugged Billie. Billie patted her head and said leerily, ''Uhh hi there.'' Then pried her arms off of him.
''You are my hero.'' She said while Nicole kept her back, then Nicole said,
''Sorry, my lil sis here's a bit of a teenie.''
''Oh that's nice.'' Billie said under his breath.
''Don't worry, I'll make sure the teenie-ness is gone while you're here. Right Jenna?''
''Yes Nicole. BILLIE!''
''Jenna, shut the hell up.''
''B...but he's right there!''
''Right and you're now over there!'' She then pushed her over the side of the couch.
''Nicole!''
''Jenna!''
