What The Flip?!, chapter 5
About 15 minutes down the road
''I'm bored.'' Tre said.
''So am I. Let's play I Spy.'' Mike said.
''Okay I go first! I spy something...white.'' Tre said.
''That car beside us?'' Tyler said.
''Nope.''
''Can you give us a hint?''
''Okay. It's in this car.'' I looked around and said,
''Jenna's shirt.''
''Nope.'' We kept guessing...and guessing.
''Give up?''
''Yeah what is it?''
''My tie!''
''Oh.''
1 hour later
''Are we there yet?'' Jenna asked.
''No.'' Mom replied.
''Dangit. Are we there......now?''
''No.''
''When will we get there?''
''In about two hours.'' Everyone sighed, except for Billie. I rested my head on Tyler's shoulder, and Tre looked at us and said,
''Aww you guys look cute together!''
''Uhh...thanks.'' Tyler said. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
''Nicole wake up.'' Tyler said.
''No.'' I said, cuddling up to him more.
''C'mon we're here.''
''We are? Yay!'' I sat up, and we got out. I looked around, and there was a fresh blanket of snow.
''Perfect.'' I said.
''What?'' Tyler asked.
''There's new snow.''
''Sweet.''
I got my stuff out of the trunk, and we all went into the lodge, and got to our rooms. We had a huge suite, and a view of the lake. It was only 8:00, so we got changed into snowboarding clothes, and went down back to the car. Jenna, Tyler, Mom, & I got our snowboards off the top of the car, and Mike, Billie, and Tre rented some.
''Let me look at your snowboard.'' I said to Tyler. He handed it to me, and I let him look at mine. His was cool, it was all black. Mine was black, with red flames on the bottom, with stickers all over it. We gave them back, and went up to the lift. Tyler & I got on one, and put our snowboards on our feet. While going up, he asked,
''Want to go on the beginner's one for starters?''
''Sure.''
''Alright. One, two three go!'' We jumped off, and watched Billie, Mike and Tre jump off behind us. Surprisingly, both Mike & Billie landed it, but Tre lost his balence, and fell over. I laughed, and went over & helped him back up.
''Ever been snowboarding before?'' I asked.
''No.''
''I thought so.''
