What The Flip?!, chapter 8

As we waited, Billie looked down at the ground and said,
''Uh... Guys? ''
''What? ''
''We're standing on a frozen lake.'' We all looked down. Sure enough, under the thin layer of snow was ice.
''As cold as it is, it's probably thick enough to hold our weight. '' Mike said.
''Hmm. I'll test it! '' Tre said, then started to jump on it.
''Tre you dumbass, stop! '' Mike said. He stopped. There was a pause, and we heard the ice crack.
''Shit. '' Billie said.
''Nice Tre... Nice one.'' I said. Why the hell weren't we running off of it?
''Well let's get off of it! '' I said. So we all ran off. Tyler apparently didn't get the message. He just stood there. There were more cracks, and it started to sink, Tyler still on it.
''Tyler!'' I screamed. I threw my board down, then ran out on it. But Mike and Billie held me back.
''Let me go!'' I tried to get out of their grasp, but they were too strong.
''Why aren't you letting go?!''
''Because look at Tyler! '' I looked at him. It wasn't Tyler. It looked like him, but it still wasn't him. I could tell by his eyes.
''What the?! That's not Tyler!''
''We know. We've known this whole time.''
''Wait...What the?''
''We'll tell you later.'' I looked back at Tyler. He had ice blue eyes, and loads of eyeliner. He usually wore just a little, like Tre. But he was wearing more than Billie ever would. The ice cracked more, and he fell into the water.
''Tyler!'' I screamed. I pushed Mike and Billie away, and ran over to the edge. I then took my cell out of my pocket, and jumped in the freezing water. I looked around. I didn't see him. Next thing I knew, a very creepy creature came swimming toward me. I screamed, and was pulled out of the water. I shivered, and started crying. Everything from then on was a blur. Someone put their coat on me, and I blacked out.

''Nicole? Nicole?'' Someone said.
''Tyler?''
''No, it's not Tyler. It's Mom. '' I opened my eyes. I was in my bed at the lodge, and Mom had a warm wash cloth on my forehead.
''Billie told me what happened.'' I sat up, and said,
''He told you everything?''
''Yep. All the way from when you guys got lost, to until I came and got you guys. Want some hot chocolate?''
''Sure.'' She stood up, and while getting it, there was a knock.
''Come in!'' Mom said. Then Green Day came in, and Billie said,
''Can I tell her?'' Mom nodded, and he sat at a chair. Tre sat at the foot of my bed, and Mike sat on the other side.
''Okay, when you were underwater did a black thing come swimming at you?'' Billie asked.
''Yeah.''
''Well, that was the Dragon Of Ice, a.k.a Tyler.''
''So, this whole time, Tyler wasn't a human, he was a dragon?''
''Yeah. Well, Once we heard of this thing, we also got the message to become your Christmas presents. We came, because we were assigned to release it into it's natural enviroment. Or else we wouldn't have even came. ''
''So, you're like secret agents or something?''
''Yeah.''
''Well, you've done your job, so you can go back home now.'' They looked at each other, and Mike said,
''Our job isn't finished yet.''
''What do you mean?''
''We don't know who, but there is another dragon, the Dragon Of Snow, that we have to release too. It is someone in your family.''
