This Is How Green Day Helped Me With My Life, chapter 11
The next morning I woke up to Billie staring at me. It was really creepy. "Hey," I said.
Billie smiled. "Hey, beautiful." I sat up and went down the stairs with him. "Hey Emily, we're going to meet Mike and Tre down at the diner for breakfast," Billie told me.
I stretched, raising my arms up. "Okay."
Billie grabbed my hand and led me down to the diner.
When I got there, I remembered what Tre had did last night. Eww, gross, I thought to myself.
The scary part was that Tre wouldn't stop looking at me. I think Billie noticed too because he spoke up.
"Hey, Tre?" Tre wouldn't stop looking.
"Tre?" Billie once again said, waving his hand in front of his face.
"TRE!" Billie said, annoyed.
Tre snapped out. "Huh, yeah?"
"Is something wrong?" Billie asked.
Tre looked worried. "Uh... no." Billie shrugged and continued talking to Mike.
I came home with Billie and went up to my room. Billie knocked on my door. "Hey, you got a letter."
Billie handed me the letter. I opened it and it said:
Emily,
You may have run away from home with your mom, but that doesn't mean that I don't know where you are. Don't count on your boyfriend, Billie protecting you either.
We will meet again... until next time.
Dad
I was shocked and in horror. "Oh my god," I said. Billie looked at me worriedly.
"What's wrong, Emily?"
I shook my head. "Nothing."
I couldn't be here, not with Billie. I took the letter and told him I was going for a walk.
I walked to Mike's house. He was my friend and would understand. I knocked on the door. He wasn't home.
I walked down the street to Tre's house. I knocked on the door. Tre answered.
"Hey, Emily, what're you doing here?" he asked. I had tears going down my cheeks.
Tre offered for me to come in. I was wet from the rain. He gave me some dry clothes to wear. Then we talked in his room.
"Tre, I just got a letter from my dad." I handed him the letter. He read it.
"Oh my god." I began to cry more. "I'm so scared. I don't want Billie to get hurt."
Tre hugged me and kissed me on the forehead. I looked at him. I never knew how blue his eyes were. This was a little awkward... but then I felt like I had something for Tre... maybe I like him?
I continued to look at Tre's eyes. Just then, he kissed me. I kissed him back. The kisses deepened and we fell back together on his bed. He landed on top of me while I was laying on his bed, kissing him back. I put my hand on his back and rubbed it. Tre's tongue met my mouth and came in. I unbuttoned his shirt, which revealed his musclular bare chest. Tre moved away and kissed my neck, moving down to my collarbone, where it met my shirt. Tre slipped off my shirt and kissed down my chest. I moaned at his touch.
I knew what I was doing, but I felt like I loved Tre... not Billie.
Tre proceeded in kissing down my chest, tracing my belly button, then he stopped at my pants.
He stopped to unzip my pants. He pulled them off. I sat up, watching him. I pulled his hand down to me. He took my place on the bed as I was on top of him, unbuckling his belt and pulling his pants down. He put his hand on my stomach and reached up to kiss me passionately. Tre was about to put himself in me as I arched my back, feeling the tension between me and him. He quickened his pace.
Tre then collapsed on top of me. We were both trying to catch our breath. We both fell asleep at each other's side.

I woke up the next morning, remembering what had happened last night. I smiled to myself and curled up next to Tre. He moved his arms around me. I must have woken him up.
"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" Tre smiled.
"It doesn't matter if you did." He kissed me on the cheek.
Tre's phone rang he went to answer it.
"Hello? Yeah, she's here. It's okay, bye."
Tre hung up and went over to me. "That was Billie."
Just then, the memory of him and I going on came back out. Oh my god, I can't tell Billie.
That afternoon, Tre, Billie, and Mike left for band practice for their new album, Kerplunk. I went over to Billie and got all my stuff together. I couldn't live with this. I'm not talking about having sex with Tre, I'm talking about my father. So the best way to deal with it was to leave...
