Mike opend the door for this so called "Tre". Tre looked so goddamn familiar. What the fuck. Everyone was starting to look familiar.
Mike introduced us. "Tre, Emily, Emily , Tre." I shook Tre's hand. "Hi."
"Hey". He responded.
This felt really awkward so I got my coat on and went outside with Tre. I finally decided to speek up. "Hey um..do I know you?" Tre looked down towards me from looking at the sky.
"You know I was thinking the same thing. I think I know you." I smiled weakly.
"YES! Oh my god I know you! You're Emily." Tre replied. Ok how dumb. I just told him my name.
"Yea I think I told you that."
"No Emily, you dated Billie Joe Armstrong?" Then it hit me.
I remembered leaving billie after sometihng really bad happend.
"Oh my god I DO remember." I had told Tre.
"You know what else I remember Emily?"
I shook my head. "No."
Tre grinned. "Remember when..." Tre looked around and whispered in my ear.
"We got together after getting that letter from your dad and... you know."
My eyes lit up. Oh gosh. How could I forget? I nodded. "Yeah.... I remember." I gave Tre a hug becuase it has been so long.
Mike and Liz had came out. "Hey, it's nice to see you get along well," Mike said.
Tre pulled away. "Mike dont you remember her? Emily....Billies girlfriend?"
Mike's mouth flung open. "Emily? You're Emily who moved in with Billie?"
I smiled "Yes."
Mike gave me a hug. "Oh god Emily you have to see Billie, he misses you soo much!"
I felt tears weld up in my eyes. "How could I leave him?" I said outloud.
"Yeah Emily, why did you leave him?" Mike asked.
So I explained it to Mike about the letter.
"Oh my. I'm sorry." Mike said giving me a hug. "Well let's go see Billie. He will like be so happy to see you!" Tre said in a preppy voice.
"God Tre you haven't changed, have you?" I jokingly questioned.
Tre grinned. "Of course not. Now let's go get Billie. He is so going to go non verbal on you!" Tre again said in a preppy voice...
