Raising Juliet, chapter 5
A week later Juliet and Joey were back at school. Juliet sat in her normal place in between Katie and Emma feeling claustrophobic because they always lean over her to talk to each other.
"Wow! We watched you on tv! Well me and Hannah did but Emma had to go to bed." Katie said.
"It was only on at nine!" Juliet answered.
"Yeah... And?" Emma snapped. Hannah and Katie looked at each other smirking.
"So what was it like?" Hannah asked.
"It was ok. My brother was annoying though. I had to look after him but I paid him 20 dollars just to get lost!" Juliet laughed.
"Ha yeah brothers are such a pain!" Hannah laughed.
"Did you meet anyone famous?" Emma asked curious.
Memory's of the night flashed back in Juliet's head. Preston, Frank, Hanging out with mcr and good charlotte at the after party.
"No. Shame really." She lied.
"Really! I swear I saw this girl with that Preston that looked just like you." Hannah asked.
"Ha imagine that!" Juliet giggled.
"Who the hells Presley? " Emma asked. Katie and Hannah giggled once again looking at each other.
"You don't know who Preston is?" Katie asked.
"Should i?" Emma asked. Neither Katie or Hannah answered her. Katie started whispering in Hannah's ear.
"So whose house are we having a sleep over tonight? It should be Emma's turn. Emma!" Hannah asked.
"I told you Trish is coming over tonight." Hannah and Katie started laughing.
"You mean your `friend` your moms g. F!" Katie sniggered.
"Ow come on guys!" She said crossing her arms.
"Well me and Katie cant weave told you." Hannah moaned. Juliet looked at it as a chance to make friends, even if these girls were kind of mean!
"You can come to my house, Dads not going To be there and moms working in loss angelus so it will be just us and my brothers." Juliet said.
The girls sighed. They were hoping Billie would be there.
"What's up?" Juliet asked them.
"Ow nothing just your brothers! " They sighed.
"Don't worry. Jakob`s fine and will be asleep its just Joey really but he will be either eating or in his room, Or in his room eating!" Juliet laughed.
"Coolness." Katie said.
"Ok then!" Juliet accidentally blurted out,
"Wait I think I have plans!" Emma said.
"Yeah and its with us. If you don't come we will pound on you!" Hannah and Katie explained harshly.
"Fine!" Emma sighed.
That night the girls set up there sleeping bags in Juliet's massive room.
"Have you got sky channel 440?" Hannah asked.
"Yeah. Put it on if you want!" Juliet said throwing her the remote control. Hannah pressed 440 and on came mtv backstage at the vma awards.
"Lets see if they show any more clips of you or maybe that girl with Preston!" Katie said. Juliet tried to distract them with something else.
"Can I mess about on your games on your phone please Juliet?" Emma asked." Sure!" Juliet threw her the phone.
"I wish I had a personalised phone." Emma said admiring the artwork Juliet and her dad had designed themselves.
Emma was still playing on Juliet's phone and Hannah and Katie were watching mtv.
"Wow you have pictures of your dad performing on here!" Emma said scrolling threw her pictures. Katie and Hannah scrolled threw the pictures and Juliet was left watching tv.
"Looks like Preston, Ordinary boys has got himself a girlfriend." The tv showed a small video clip of them both kissing in the Limo.
"We believe the girl to be... " Juliet quickly turned it of before the girls saw or heard the rest.
"Why did you do that? I wanted to see who the bitch was!" Hannah snapped.
"Excuse me?" Juliet snapped back.
"Ow come on Julie were all jealous of her but you didn't have to turn it of! We could have laughed at how better we are to that bitch all night." She finished.
" Yeah but its depressing. You no what I mean don't you?" She lied.
"I guess! Can we get a snack!" Hannah asked.
"Sure! Coming Emma?" Julie asked as Katie and Hannah made there way downstairs.
'They must have recorded it threw the sun roof! ' Julie thought.
"Sure, Julie can I talk to you?" She asked.
"Sure. You guys go downstairs I will be down in a second.
The girls went downstairs and Emma and Julie up stairs.
"Explain this?" She shoved Juliet's phone in front of her nose. There was Preston's number with in big letters above it said Preston and a picture of him beside.
"Emma please don't tell them. You're not like them. Please." Juliet pleaded.
"We will see about that. I joined this group to months ago and got it tough but now you're new! It should be my turn to make you suffer but no. They still pick on me and you just step in like that! Just cause your dads Famous. So make me one of them. We will see!" She threw the phone on Juliet's bed and walked away.
Downstairs Hannah and Katie were exploring.
"Look at that! They make me sick!" Katie said picking up 2 pictures. One with Billie and Adrienne is kissing and another at there wedding.
"We can easily make them divorce now we've excepted Juliet." Katie finished,
"Easily!"
