Dead Cats, chapter 5

“I can’t believe I’m doing this?� I said to really to no one, while climbing out of my window. “What if my parents find out. Damn Lizzy would tell on me faster than anyone.� I said still to no one. I jogged most of the way to Billie Joe’s house. I was wearing my cat in the hat pj pants, a yellow t-shirt with sponge bob face on the fron t and on the back it said ‘I’m ready’, then on top of that I had a pull over shirt that says, my phrase that I printed on there, ‘There is no such thing as a stupid questions… just stupid people.’ I finally made it at Billie Joe’s house at about midnight.
“Should I knock or just go in?� I asked myself.
“I wouldn’t knock.� said a voice behind me while touching my shoulder.
“HOLY SHIT.� I yelled.
“Be quiet Ashley, don’t wake up the Whole damn town.� said the voice behind me.
“Mike you scared the living daylights out of me.� I said, now looking at him in the eyes. “Why are you out here?�
“Smoking, why did you come over?� Mike asked grinning from ear to ear.
“To see Billie.� I said
“Looking like that? Don’t say nothing I was just playing. You know you’re risking a lot coming over here, after what happened today. Wait I’m not done.� Mike said putting a finger on my half open mouth. “Did you run over Billie Joe cat?�
“I know what I’m risking, and have notice about the cat?� I asked knowing the answer already.
“Yep, we’ll talking about it tomorrow, though. Don’t want to keep Billie wait, now do we.� Mike said opening the door for me.
“Okay.� I said walking in.
“Hey Ashley, don’t over do him, we have a interview tomorrow morning.� Mike said as I was walking down the hallway to Billie Joe’s room.
“Shut up Mike.� I said standing at the door. “I’ll try not to.� I said walking through the door.
“What in fuck is this.� I yelled stand in his room.
