Tré's Magical Adventure, chapter 1
One day, Tré was walking around town when he felt lots of money jingling around in his pocket. There was lots of money in there because he was a drummer, a pretty damn good one at that. So anyway, he decided to spend some of it. He went into was 'It's Magic.' He saw a cool purple thing, at the door, swirling with smoke. He walked over and poked his hand into the mist. He withdrew his hand, partially because it was hot and also because the manger of the shop started screaming at him. He legged it out of there. As he was legging it out he looked back and saw the manger branching a large rubber unicycle. Tré was terrified and ran faster.
He ran so far that he found himself in Japan. There was people there wearing kimonos. Tré struggled through racks of clothes
He walked over to one girl, and asked: 'Do you sp-eek een-glesh?' the girl looked at him with a puzzled expression. Then she replied: 'Dia Guit!' in a very strong conemarra accent. 'What the fuck' said Tré, a confused look spread across her. 'Sorry but I don't speak Japanese' said Tré walking away. The girl, thought Tré, was quite pretty. She had bright red hair and her face was covered with freckles. Tré left the store. Galway was such a strange place. He wouldn't even be here if two girls hadn't invited him for dinner at their house. Tré had been looking forward to eating the cocoa beans with cheese.
Oh well thought Tré, they had given him the recipe. 'Where to now?' thought Tré. The change was still jingling in his pocket. So he decided to wander around. He wandered into Boston and started trying on clothes. He found some nice things and stumbled into the changing room. Tré shoved one of the T-shirts over his head. he studied himself in the mirror that hung on the wall. 'I look hot' whispered Tré to himself. 'Can I help you with anything? Would you like something in a bigger size?' called the shop assistant for the other side of the curtain.
'No, I'm good,' yelled Tré back. He changed back into his normal clothes and slide out of the changing room. His skipped up to the counter and dumped the clothes in front of the woman. She looked at Tré oddly and beeped the clothes through the check out. She folded them neatly and put them carefully in a bag. She then handed the bag over to Tré who gave her a big cheesy smile. Tré skipped merrily out of the shop and down the road. He was very pleased with his purchase and couldn't wait to try them on. 'Wait till Billie sees me in my new clothes' thought Tré.
