Tré's Magical Adventure, chapter 7

The plane finally came to a stop on the run way. After a six hour plane ride everyone was groggy. Except Tré who actually got some sleep on the plane. He had kept everyone else up with his snoring. "I do not snore!" said Tré when Mike lectured him about it on there way out of the plane. They made their way to the luggage collection.
"I'll get us a trolley," said Mike. He quickly returned with a trolley and they both waited for the luggage to come through. After a few minutes of waiting the first bag came through on the conveyer belt.
"Yay it's mine!" yelled Tré in surprise. He rushed to grab it and pulled it off. He then loaded it onto the trolley and attempted to wheel the trolley away.
"Em... Tré everyone else has to get their bags first," pointed out Mike.
"Oh sorry," said Tré, his cheeks went bright red in embarrassment.

Everyone got there bags they all headed for sound checking on the tour bus. "Hey Billie," yelled Tré from across the stage.
"What?" asked Billie who was tuning his guitar.
"Will I give you your present now?" asked Tré clutching a duty free bag.
"Ya sure why not?" said Billie putting down his guitar and getting up to come over to Tré. Tré handed Billie Joe the bag. Billie Joe opened it eagerly. "Oh," he said, his face dropped.
"You don't like it?" asked Tré a tear forming at the side of his eye. "I thought you could wear it at the concert." Billie took out the tie.
"No Tré I love it. I will wear it tonight," said Billie trying to cheer Tré up. It worked and Tré skipped off so the band could practise together. He sat down on his drum stool enthusiastically.
"Let's start with Brain Stew," yelled Billie from the front of the stage. He strummed his guitar. And Tré soon picked up the drum beat.

Later that evening before the show Tré was putting on his eyeliner. Mike was tying his shoes. "Hey Mike you know the saying 'I fancy the pants off him'?" Tré asked him.
"Ya what about it?" asked Mike.
"Well could you ever fancy someone so much that their pants fell off?" Mike burst out laughing.
"What's so funny?" asked Billie walking in.
"Just Tré" replied Mike.
"What?" asked Tré bewildered. "I just asked a question." Mike still could not stop laughing. He fell on the floor and started banging his fist on the ground.
"God you are so funny Tré," he blurted finally controlling himself.
"Are you guys ready?" asked Billie adjusting his new tie. "We have to be out there in a while."
"I'm ready!" exclaimed Tré. He quickly put some hair gel into his hair and made his mohawk stand up straighter. Mary marched into the room.
"Hurry up guys you're supposed to be out there in five minutes, the bunny has been warming up the crowd for ages." The band strode out of the changing room. The bunny left the stage. The crowd got louder chanting, "Green Day, Green Day, Green Day..." They ran onstage. Tré quickly took his seat on his drum stool.
"Hello New York!" yelled Billie Joe, his new tie flapped in the evening breeze. Billie began strumming the first few chords of American Idiot. The crowd sang along.

The concert passed quickly and it was not long before they were on one of their last songs, "King For A Day!" screamed Billie. Everyone in the crowd started dancing. Billie got excited and threw off his tie and unbuttoned the first two buttons on his shirt. He threw the tie to the side of the stage and continued singing. Tré stared at the tie, but kept playing.
"Why would Billie do that to his new tie?" thought Tre. He thought about this till the concert ended at which point he ran off the stage. Tré ran to the changing room tears were streaming down his face. Mary followed him in.
"Are you ok?" she asked, looking concerned.
"Leave me alone bitch" yelled Tré through his tears. "Just go away...please," he gave her a sad look and she left the room.

"But can I ask you something before I go?" she said coming back.
"What?" asked Tre wiping away his tears.
"What's with you and Mike? You guys seem really close," she asked coldly.
"We're best friends of course we are close," he spat.
"Well you guys seem all, I don't know, too close?" she replied.
"Just leave me alone," said Tre and wiped his smudged eyeliner off his face. Mary did as she was told and left him alone.
