When They Came Around, chapter 6
"BEE-BEE-BEH-BEEP-BEH-BEEP-BEH-BEEP-BEEP-BEEEP!" Shez just got a text, to the tune of American Idiot. She pulled her lips away from Tre's, took out her phone and read out loud.
"We got a gig 2nite will u b dere? -xxjulz," Tre said,
"You'll wanna be at that, right? I'll be there watching you, right in the mosh pit!"
"It's a pub, dumbass," Shez told him.
"Heh... I knew that..." said Tre. "You wanna go pick up your stuff now?"
"Yeah, just let me go have a piss first," Shez said. So Shez went to the bathroom, used the toilet, and put on some of Tre's eyeliner that was lying around.
"HUUUUUUUURRRRRY UUUPP!" Tre yelled from downstairs. Shez ran downstairs and out the door, and got in the passenger seat of Tre's SUV.

Shez ran in the door of her squat to find Jules attempting to tune his guitar. She hugged him and said "Yes, another gig!"
"Aw, fuck, now that string's not gonna fucking tune," Jules said angrily. Tre came in the door and imitated Dory from Finding Nemo.
"Hey mister grumpy gills!"
"What?! She's not been coming to all the band practices 'cause YOU've been taking her away from us," Jules told Tre. Shez said,
"When you get a girlfriend, you'll understand."
Kiwi just made his entrance into the room, and said "Hey yo, we gotta get down to our gig, homies!" Jules asked,
"What's with the homie g-shit?" He had calmed down now.
"Beats me, will you hurry up? My kit's already down at the pub," Kiwi said. Shez was already carrying her bass bag in one hand and an amp in the other. She said,
"Tre'll give us a lift, right? You said you'd be moshing, heheh."
"Yeah, I'll take you guys," Tre said. Jules had his stuff ready, so they went down to the SUV and went offf to the gig that would get them signed.

"Anything different to when we rehearsed?" Shez whispered to Kiwi.
"Nah," Kiwi said.
"Our first song we're gonna play is a song from one of our favourite bands, Green Day. This song is called LONGVIEWWW!!" Jules screamed into the microphone. The Disgracefuls started playing Longview in front of about 30 people, including Tre, who stayed true to his word and moshed. He was getting weird looks from the other people. Shez was going into the bass line after the chorus when she saw Billie and Mike in the audience. It was then she thought to herself
"Hey, dosen't Billie co-own that record company? Uh... Adeline, i think..."

After most people had left the pub after the gig, Billie came up to them and said "Hey, you guys were really good up there. I might be able to sign you up with Adeline."
"YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Kiw and Jules screamed at the same time. Their inspiration had just signed them with a record company.
