When They Came Around, chapter 8
Shez woke up first, to find Tre's arm lying on her chest. She slowly moved his arm, got up and dressed into her dark blue jeans and a black tank-top. She went downstairs to get some breakfast. She hadn't eaten breakfast in months. She found a boz of cornflakes, poured some into a bowl, and got some milk. By the time she finished eating them, Tre snuck up behind her and hugged her around the waist. Shez jumped, and dropped the bowl. It broke, and Tre said "Oh well, it was a worthless bowl anyway." "Is your ass still sore?" Shez joked. Tre said "Nah, It's fine. Hey, about, uh... Getting married... I thought you'd say it was... Too soon, or some shit like that." Shez said "Nothing's too soon with you, Tre" Tre said "Exactly, Mrs. Cool. They kissed.

Shez ran into the squat and said to Kiwi and Jules "From now on, you gotta call me Mrs. Cool, okay?" Kiwi patted her on the back and said "You're engaged? Good work." Jules took his hood off. When was the last time he'd done that, about... 7 months ago? He said "We're gonna make some of our album today! Billie said he was gonna come pick us up and take us to the studio. But I refused to have him come 'cause..." He held up a car key. "You mean..." Shez said, "How did you afford it?" "Well, it was cheap, and we DID get paid for the gig last night, so, I got a car." Jules said, "Oh, by the way, we're recording our 14 songs, including The Roadkill Song, and we're covering Longview. We might get it done today, maybe." Kiwi butted in, "If you really want it done today, we're gonna have to go now.

"But it's just a myth..." Jules just sung the last line of the last song on the album, Longview. After it finished fading out at the end, The guy stopped recording, and Kiwi threw his sticks up into the air and yelled "AWESOME!" Jules yelled "FUCK YEAH!" and Shez just screamed and lay down on her back, drained of her energy. Kiwi said "Uh... So... Whadda we call it?" Jules said "How about... Uhm... One Way Ticket?!" Shez said "Yeah, good thinking." "Kiwi said "You idiot! Why'd you just record that?" The guy, his name tag read JIM, said "Eh, I'll put it in at the start. It'll sound cool when I'm done." Shez said "Yeah, whatever."

Jules dropped Shez off outside Tre's house. Shez got her bass out of the boot, and said "See ya," to Jules. Jules drove off, beeping the horn like a complete idiot. Shez ran inside to find Tre, Claudia and an about 5-year old kid watching TV. Shez said "Yeah! The album's recorded!" Tre said "In one day?", Claudia said "That's good...," and the kid said in his 5-year old voice "Who is you?" "Oh, I'm uh... Shez?" "She's daddy's new girlfriend." Tre said. The kid started singing "Shez and daddy, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G..." Claudia let out a small sigh. Whilst he was singing the song he learnt off one of his preschool friends, Tre explained "This is Frankito, we call him Frank. He's Claudia's but I... Er, helped! Aww... How cute, he knows a song..."
