When They Came Around, chapter 9
6:30 PM
"You WHAT?!" Claudia said to Tre. "I proposed to Shez. Shoulda heard the first time. You know I love her," said Tre. Claudia said "Oh, I just didn't hear you right before. Shez is cool, and I'm happy for you." Shez just got back from her shower, came downstarirs and said to Tre "So, d'ya wanna go now?" Sure, can I just fix this up first." Said Tre, pointing to his hair, which was down Jesus-style. So he went upstairs to shove his hair how he always wore it: "That mohawk-ishy thing," according to Shez. Claudia asked Shez "Where are you going anyway?" "Oh, we're just going to a pub... The same pub I was signed in." Shez said. "Well, try to keep him under control. I don't want him coming back drunk." "Yeah, I'll try..."

"SPEED CAMERA!" Shez yelled, because Tre was speeding again. They eventually pulled up outside the bar, and went in. There were about 10 people in there, one of them being Mike Dirnt. Shez said "Hey, Mike's here! Hi Mike!" Tre said "Mike? You mean THE Mike Dirnt? I want his autograph!" Shez and Tre went to sit with Mike. Mike said "Hi, how are ya?" Tre said "I wanna get drunk already! And I'm sure 'Mrs Cool' here wants to as well." He grabbed Shez's wrist, showing Mike her ringed finger. Mike said "Ooo, go Tre! 'Tre's got a girlfriend! ' Hahaha." But Tre wasn't around to hear that, because he'd gone off and got a beer. Shez said to Mike, "I'm meant to be keeping him as sober as I can tonight." Mike said "Doubt that's gonna happen. Where ever there's beer, there's Tre, usually drunk." Tre came back over to Mike and Shez, drank that glass of beer in about 10 seconds, then went over to go get more, walking as if he was in a trance. Shez sighed and said "No sober Tre tonight."

"And then I said 'Oh yeah? Says you! '" Said Tre, sitting around a table with Mike and Shez. Mike said "Err... Good one Tre..." "You keep out of this, mister.." Said Tre, grabbing Mike by the shirt. Mike said "Geez, sorry.." And Tre said "Did I ever tell you how much I love you, baby?" and he put his arm around Mike. Shez was watching Mike and Tre... Er, talk, when she noticed a small sign above the counter: QUICK WEDDINGS HERE: $5 FOR 5 MINS. Shez thought "What next, Joints in a vending machine?" But she really wanted to marry Tre, as soon as possible, so she grabbed Tre by the arm and dragged him to the counter. Shez put $5 on the counter and said "I wanna marry him." Tre looked at his hands and said "Hey, I have 10 fingers!"

"Do you, Shez take Tre as your husband?" Asked the bartender. Shez said "Of course I do." "Tre, same question, swap the names around?" "Yeah, only if I get more beer/" Tre took a sip of the glass of beer he was holding. The bartender said "Ya may kiss the bride." Tre missed, and ended up kissing Shez's nose instead, so Shez had to move his head into the right place. Mike put away his mobile. He had just filmed the whole 3-minute procession onto his phone. As drunk Tre pulled away from Shez's lips, he said "Do I know you?"
