"I've Done Twins", chapter 18
"SHIT!" Tre screamed. He saw the water park. Water slides, water guns, water
fountains, but the main attraction, was the large bucket of water, ontop of a water
tower, that tipped a shit load of water down onto the children every 47 seconds (yeah,
Leah timed it).
"PLEASE LEAH! LET ME GO THERE!" Tre pleaded. Leah 'umm-ed' about it for a
few seconds, but when she went to answer, Tre had already ran off and started playing.
Jason had also ditched her. She looked up at Mike.
"Seems we've adopted two sons for the day," She mumbled, "Seeing as though Courts
decided to ditch us with BJ."
Mike nodded, although, you could hardly see it because he had all the towels stacked
up on him.
"Well," Smiled Leah, "Wanna sit in a shady spot or a sunny spot or..."
He dumped the towels on the grass and ran over to Tre and Jason to go down the
water slide.
Leah rolled her eyes and put her share of stuff next to the towels.
"Cut queue," Leah pushed infront of Mike and stood behind Tre, who was squashed
behind Jason and some kid who had a phobia of slides.
"Oh for fuck's sake," Grunted Jason, shoving the kid hard, making him go right down
the slide. Jason slid down the slide with incredible speed and slid over just in time for
the bucket to dunk water all over him with so much pressure it pinned him to the floor.
"Jesus!" Mike laughed, watching Jason and Tre, and all the other kids, pick themselves
off the floor and run back to whatever they were doing before the bucket.
"You'd think these kids have never been wet before," Giggled Leah, swinging herself
off a bar to increase her speed going down the slide. Mike watched as she slid out from
the bottom of the slide and chased Tre around a water fountain in the shape of a
mushroom.
Mike was a little hesitant about going down the slide. There were twists and turns and
bends, and he hated hitting them. He shrugged and slid down anyway.
"That was great!" He said to Leah, "I wanna go again!"
Leah chuckled and kissed his cheek, "No, you've gotta come and wait for the bucket!"
They sat down, cross legged, were Leah told them to sit.
"This is exactly where the bucket's water hits," She said, as kids started sitting around
them and waited too. The bucket started to tilt uneasily.
"It's coming!" Jason said excitedly to the kids, they started a count down from five.
The bucket fell right on cue and flattened Jason the most. Leah was pushed down hard
and Tre and Mike were fighting against it.
"Oh man," Groaned Jason, as kids ran ontop of him and he pulled himself off the floor.
Leah laughed and fixed up her bikini top.
"Funny story behind this bucket," She said, "Because the water's so strong, it's knocks
the tops off hot chicks in their bikinis. Guys always hang around to see if one girl loses
her top or bikini bottoms or whatever."
"Which is why..." Tre said, patting his board shorts, "You were these babies."
"Wedgie," Jason shouted, pulling Tre's boardies up, "Aw, damn, doesn't have the
same effect."
"I wouldn't say that," Tre squeaked, pulling out a painful wedgie.
Mike, knowing Leah had bikini bottoms under her black board shorts, grinned.
"Don't even think about it," Snapped Leah, "I cannot stand wedgies."
Spoke too soon Tre grinned, sneaking up behind her and reaching in to her
boardies to grab the bottoms and pull them up high. Leaving Leah with a killer wedgie.
"YOU FUCKER!" She screamed. Parents of young children stared at Leah in disgust.
She didn't care.
Leah chased Tre around the park, Tre eventually slipped and fell on his stomach onto
the padded, sponge like ground.
"You're gonna die," Hissed Leah. Tre stood up, Leah grabbed his board shorts and
pulled them down. Tre stood, exposed, to the whole park.
A few women grinned innocently and permitted themselves a quick up and down of
him. Other women screamed and grabbed there children. Some of the men laughed,
others turned away and some of the kids just stared in horror.
"Oh sweet Jesus, there IS no God," Mumbled Mike, slapping his hand to his eyes, as
his girlfriend held Tre's lime green board shorts. Tre stood completely naked.
Jason stared blankly for a while, until he looked down at the floor and started to giggle
and snigger uncontrollably. The whole park was quiet.
Leah threw the board shorts at him and ran over to a fountain to wash her hands.
"Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew...." Was all she said, "Oh God, that was so
embarrassing. Ew, I saw his penis. Oh God... I think I'm gonna hurl..."
Tre put his board shorts back on and hid in a children's crawl-through tunnel for the
rest of the time they spent at the water park.
"Is that Mike?" Courtney pointed ahead of her.
"Ah, it is," Smiled Billie Joe, he waved to get Mike's attention.
Mike waved back and ran towards Billie. Billie opened his arms, as a joke, and Mike
ran straight into them. Billie nearly fell over with the force Mike knocked into him
with.
"How come you're so happy to see me?" He asked, grinning.
"Because, Jase and Tre are driving me insane," Mike muttered bitterly.
"I can understand that," Courtney smiled, waving to her twin.
"What were you guys doing?" Asked Billie, pulling Courtney closer to him.
"Well," Mike sighed, "Apparently Leah got an emergency call from Alex."
"Alex as in our brother, Alex?" Asked Courtney.
"The one and only," He replied, shrugging.
"And what's wrong?" She questioned.
"Dunno," Shrugged Mike, again, "She just said she needs to talk to you. She's getting
Tre and Jason in order before she comes here."
Mike told them about the whole wedgie-losing-of-pants incident. Courtney went red
with embarrassment, thinking how stupid her sister was and how there was NO way
they could come from the same mother, even if they were in there at the exact same
time.
"Seven minutes," She muttered again, "Youngest by seven minutes. And yet, I'm more
mature then her."
"Alright," Billie interrupted before it got messy, "Let's just get the other's so we can
figure out what the deal with Alex is all about."
"Oh Courtney," Moaned Leah, "It's bloody horrible! Alex wants us down at the Gold
Coast for a week! Ugh, I can't stand Alex's apartment!"
Jason looked completely confused, "What's so wrong with visiting your brother?"
"He's a pig!" Squealed Leah, "He's disgusting!"
Courtney, the Saint, smiled innocently at Billie and whispered, "He's not really, just a
typical guy is all he is."
Billie smiled and nodded.
"Don't stick up for that jerk, Courtney," Shouted Leah, "He's gross and I WILL NOT
be staying with him!"
Jason and Tre shot glances at each other and grinned.
In The Car...
"I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU'RE DRAGGING ME TO STAY WITH ALEX!"
Screamed Leah. Everyone couldn't help but giggle. Jess and Hayley had agreed to
come down with them, and Tre and Jason shared their car, while Courtney, Billie,
Mike and Leah took another.
In the backseat next to a frightened Mike, Leah sat fuming over the fact she had to
spend a week with her brother.
"Courtney! I'll never ever forgive you for this!"
Courtney didn't give a damn what Leah was saying, she kept her hands on the steering
wheel, with Billie's hand on her thigh. Mike was too scared to try and calm Leah
down.
"Honey..." He squeaked after Leah threatened to cut Courtney's hair in her sleep.
"Don't 'honey' me!" Snapped Leah, "I'm pissed, Mike! Stay out of it, this is a Twin
Thing."
"Well, I don't mean to push the 'Twin Thing'," Billie hissed acidly, "But it's getting on
my nerves and I'm about to kill both of you."
"Me?" Snapped Courtney, "What the hell have I done?"
"What haven't you done?" Interrupted Leah, "You're dragging me to stay with
Alex! Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but I can only stand to see him a couple of
times a year, and besides, he wasn't at Dad's funeral! We should be ignoring him!"
"FOR FUCK'S SAKE! SHUT UP!" Billie screamed, "I HAVE A SPLITTING
HEADACHE AND YOU'RE NOT HELPING!"
The car went quiet. Even Mike flinched a bit. Leah's phone buzzed with a call from
Tre.
"What's up, Tre?" Asked Leah.
"Little Darling Leah," He began, "We're going to pull over at... uh... what café was
it?" Jess's faint voice could be heard in the background, "At the Onside Café, alright?
So... yeah... meet you there. Ok?"
"Ok, cool. I need a break," She sighed, "Catchya later."
"See you," He replied, hanging up.
"Mike," Leah said calmly, "Tell Courtney we're stopping at the Onside Café."
"Courts," Mike sighed, "We're stopping at the Onside Café."
"Billie," Courtney said in the same icy tone as Leah, "Tell Leah I can hear what she's
saying, and also tell her to grow up."
"Lee..." Billie started.
"YOU GROW UP! BITCH!" Screamed Leah.
"Billie, take the wheel," Courtney snapped, spinning around and starting to hit Leah, it
was a full scale fight and Billie hopelessly tried to steer from the passenger side.
"COURTNEY! KILL HER WHEN WE GET OUT OF THE CAR!" Shouted Billie,
"DRIVE!"
Courtney spun around and took the wheel.
"Skank," She muttered.
"Whore," Leah muttered back.
In Jess's Car...
"B-I-N-G-O AND BINGO WAS HIS NAME-O!" Tre and Jason giggled and laughed
insanely from the back of the car. Hayley and Jess shot each other
'Oh-my-God-how-pathetic' looks. Tre and Jason haven't stopped singing little
annoying songs since they got in the car.
"I swear to God," Hayley said, clenching the steering wheel, "If I hear 'Roll Your
Joint' one more time I'm gonna..."
"Hey Jase," Giggled Tre, "Roll, roll, roll your joint, twist it at the ends, light it up and
take a puff then pass it to your friends!"
They both sang along.
Hayley gritted her teeth, "They're SO not getting milkshakes when we get to Onside."
"Did I hear someone say milkshakes?" Asked Jason curiously.
"Yeah," Smiled Jess, "But what made you think YOU were getting one."
"Look, lady, I know your boyfriend very personally and if you don't get me a
milkshake... I... I'll... um... I'll... stop talking to your boyfriend."
"Maybe then he'll spend a little less time with you and more with me," Jess mumbled.
Tre rolled his eyes, "Just give the man a milkshake or I'll come up there and... kiss
you."
"Oh go on then," Laughed Jess, "I'd love to see you try!"
Tre jumped over and kissed Jess passionately.
"HAH! TAKE THAT!" He shouted. Hayley tried to focus on the road. She saw the
Onside and pulled up. With Courtney pulling up behind her.
Tre stumbled out of the car, followed by Jason, and gave his legs a stretch.
"Ah," He said in satisfaction, "That's better."
Jason jumped on the spot to get his blood pumping. Courtney and Leah were walking
towards them, with sour looks on their identical faces.
"What's the matter with you?" Asked Jason.
"She's the matter," Snapped Courtney, pointing at her sister. Leah grabbed Courtney's
pony tail and pulled it, jerking Courtney's head backwards, "OW!" She screamed.
Leah giggled and ran to hide behind Mike.
"Anyway, I'm for a milkshake," Jason grinned, putting his arm around Hayley.
"Yeah, same," Agreed Tre, "C'mon, I want a large chocolate milkshake!"
Leah and Courtney were not allowed to sit any where near each other. Food and fights
never were a good mix. They mouthed insults at each other during lunch.
"So..." Billie said, trying to draw the attention away from the twins, "How was your
car trip?" He asked Jess.
She shrugged and glared at Tre, who was sitting next to her and Jason, "The car songs
were getting repetitive.
"Really?" Mike laughed, "I would have killed to hear some decent music. We had the
radio on but all I could hear was 'You're a stupid eccentric bitch, Leah' 'Shut up
Courtney-Jade you idiotic wannabe whore-bag'."
Tre giggled, "Girls, girls, girls, girls, girls! You know I don't like it when you fight."
"Sorry, Tre," The said in flat unison.
"Now, give me a kiss and just make-up you two," He said in a fatherly tone. Leah
stood up, Courtney leaned over and they pecked Tre's cheeks.
"Sorry, Courtney," Leah mumbled.
"Sorry, Leah," She mumbled back.
"Good girls," Tre cooed, "Now where the FUCK'S my milkshakes?! SERVICE!"
