"I've Done Twins", chapter 29

"Y'know, Mike, you said you'd take me out and you never did," grinned Leah.
"Oh yeah," smiled Mike, "still up for it?"
"Of course I am! C'mon! Let's go get ready!"

It took about half an hour for Leah to get ready.
"Girls are so fussy," Mike grumbled to Billie. "They're like, 'Do I look good in this?'
'Do I look fat in this?' 'Does this make me look skanky?' Ugh!"
Billie nodded, "I know. I know. Girls, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em."
Tre flopped onto the couch and started mucking around with the X-Box.
"Let's play... uh... Jesus, what games are there?"
Tre stumbled around to find some games to play.
"Girls are about as weird as Tre," sighed Mike.
"I agree," Billie nodded, "and they both have sexy underwear."
Billie giggled, pointing out Tre's obvious showing red boxers.
"Take a good look, boys," Leah said from behind them.
They turned around, and saw a dressed up Leah. In one of Courtney's (flattering) black dresses and her hair done up nicely and make up done perfectly (thanks to Jess).
Tre, jokingly, gave a wolf whistle.
"And who might be this good lookin' chick?" he teased.
"This is the NEW and LIMITED EDITION Leah Marie Prescott."
"Batteries not included," added Tre. They laughed.
"Mike, you ready?"
"Yeah. Take it you are?"
She waved the keys in front of his face. Mike snatched them, took her hand and winked at the boys.
"Ooh, lady's man," muttered Billie.

Much Later...

"So, like, anyway... I went up to him and was like, 'Yo, homie, you wanna... f-f-fuck with me, and I'll kick your ass!'" Tre slurred.
Jason laughed and ended up spilling his beer. Billie groaned. Hayley looked over at Courtney and rolled her eyes. Jess got up, grabbed the mop and cleaned it up.
"Jessie!" Tre shouted. "Jessie, Jessie, baby! Come to bed with meh. I'm so tired."
Jess sighed and Billie nodded. "I'll look after the mop," he said.
"No, I will!" Jason snapped, taking the mop. "I believe in miracles, where you from? You sexy thing..." he sang to the mop.
Hayley sunk into her seat in a sulky way.
"Why couldn't he take ME out for dinner?" she mumbled.
"Hm," agreed Courtney. "I hate this... watching them get drunk."
"I'm surprised their brain cells aren't dead," Billie chuckled.
"There weren't any brain cells to kill to start off with," snapped Courtney.

Leah looked across the table with a grin.
"You can't be serious?" She giggled.
"I am," smiled Mike. "Completely."
"You can't be! Not... not..."
"Leah, trust me. I DO want you to move in." He smiled softly, "I mean it. No
kidding."
She smiled back at him and nodded. "As long as you're sure."
"Oh for crying out loud, Leah! Of course I'm sure! Do you think I'd insist you do it if
I didn't mean it?!"
She looked around the restaurant and back at Mike. The candle that sat on the table made his eyes look so much bigger and brighter. Or maybe it was just excitement. Leah giggled again.
"Ok then, once we get back, we'll get our shit together and figure it out."
"Yeah," mumbled Mike. "Maybe then Billie and Tre will, for once, get the fuck outta my house."
"Maybe," repeated Leah.

"Jeeeeeesssssiiiiieeee!" sang Tre. Jess stood in the bathroom, brushing her teeth and taking off her eyeliner and whatnot. She came into the bedroom and switched off the light.
"Ooh, Jess! Like doing it in the dark?" Tre giggled. Jess rolled her eyes and climbed into bed. Tre grabbed her and pulled her in for a cuddle. "You smell nice," he said.
She couldn't help but giggle, "Thank you for that, Tre."
"You're welcome." He grinned, "You smell... uh... clean."
"Is it rare for you to smell something clean?" she teased.
"Yeah," Tre said, sounding a little surprised, "I don't normally have clean stuff. It's kinda... all... dirty. Y'know what I'm sayin' gurl? You feelin' me?"
"God, why are you so gangsta-ish tonight?" laughed Jess.
"'Cause Fiddy Cent's my roommate."
She kissed his arm. "Go to sleep," she mumbled.
"Jess, we're going back to the States," he whispered, "you have to come with me.
You HAVE to."
She smiled, "What do you mean?"
"Just... move in. I mean, Mike had the idea first. But fuck it. It's my idea now!"
She sat up, her white tank top spaghetti strap slipped down her shoulder. Tre giggled and put it back on her shoulder.
"Move in with you?" she gasped. "MOVE in?!"
"Uh... 'Move in with you...' I think that's what I said," he pondered. "Either that or
I love Winnie The Pooh."
She giggled again, "You're drunk, Tre. You don't know what you're saying."
"No!" he protested, "I'm not! I know perfectly well what I'm sayin'! And I'm sayin' that..." He stopped to hiccup, "I want you to move in with me. I'd miss you TOO much, Jess. Honestly, please. At least think about it. I have a really cool bedroom. You'd love it, please!"
"Well..." She smiled, "I'll have to..." She sighed, "I'll figure it out."
"So you will?"
"Yeah," she laughed. "I've just gotta do some stuff over here, first!"
Tre snuggled back down into the bed and snatched all the blanket off Jess.
"My blankie. NOT yours!" he snapped.
Jess sighed and snatched some blanket back, she snuggled into him and nudged him hard.
"Shut up and go to sleep."
"'Cause I'm a mother fuckin' P.I.M.P.!"
"Shut the fuck up, Fiddy," she grinned.

Leah and Mike walked along the beach just outside of the beach hut. Leah kicked off her heels and Mike just threw his shoes on the porch.
"Kinda light out tonight," commented Mike.
"It's the moon," Leah replied. "'Cause, it's... erm... BIG! And it lights up the sky and everything."
She looked very pleased with herself.
"Good explaining," Mike joked.
"I'm impressed," Leah admitted.
"You're an idiot, you know that, right?"
"Yeah, trust me. Twenty-five years of being told that... it starts setting in by the age of fourteen."
He laughed and stopped walking. Because Mike was holding her hand, it made Leah stop too. He pulled her in for a hug.
"Hmm, I don't care if you're an idiot, Lee. I love you anyways."
"That's good," she whispered, "because if you don't, no one else will."
"Oh, I dunno about that. You're pretty popular in my group."
"I know." She grinned, then added sarcastically, "So what? Jason and Tre and Billie and Ronnie and so on like me. Woo!"
"That's an achievement. Ronnie doesn't like ANYONE!"
Leah plopped herself onto the sand and tugged Mike down.
"I like the sand," she said, running her fingers around in the cool sand.
"The sand likes you," Mike muttered. Leah pushed Mike down and put her head on his chest.
"I could sleep here." He laughed. Leah nodded.
"So could I, but... people would poke sticks at us."
"Hm, or wild dogs would eat us."
"I'm more worried about the sticks!" she exclaimed. "They're sharp sticks!"
"You're... really.... weird," Mike laughed.
"It's the wine," Leah protested.

The Next Morning...

Jason woke up and let out a large burp. He stood up, scratched his ass and strolled into the kitchen. Grabbing the orange juice, Jason looked around, to see if anyone else was awake. It was just him.
He sighed and thought about Hayley. When he went back to the States, what would she do?
It was a bit too early to ask her to move in. However, Tre did. And Mike did too. No doubt Courtney would stay with Billie.
He was thrown out of his thoughts with a tap on his shoulder. It was Hayley. She was grinning at him and still in her pajamas. Her long black hair was tied back into a curly, messy and half assed ponytail.
"Morning," she said cheerfully.
"Morning," Jason grumbled.
"Take it you didn't sleep well last night?" she grinned.
"I slept on the most fucked up angle ever on the coffee table... with a mop between my legs." Jason rubbed his aching back.
"Poor baby," she teased, kissing his cheek lovingly.
"Look, Hayley... we're going back to the States in six days..."
"Oh," she interrupted quietly, "You... wanna break up?"
"NO!" he exclaimed. "No, Hayley. No, I just... I want you to come back..."
She smiled smugly and leaned against the kitchen bench, "Ah, is it 'cause you'll miss me, Jase?"
"Yes," he mumbled with a cute smile, "I will, I would. So you've got to come back. Stay with me. Just for... a couple of weeks. A month! If you like it... you should stay."
"I don't need to trial test it," she chuckled. "Jase, as long as you're there, it would be fine."
"Then come back and live with me, Hayles!"
She grinned, "Of course."

"Five weeks," laughed Leah. "You've been together for five weeks and they're asking you to move in?!"
Leah, Courtney, Jess and Hayley were sitting at their favourite coffee place. Jess and
Hayley broke the news that Tre and Jason had asked them to move in with them.
"It'll be tough to persuade my mother," sighed Jess, "but she got the gist of it via the phone."
Hayley nodded, "It's fine. I mean, I know it's only been a few weeks..."
"Five," the twins chorused.
"Yeah, five weeks... but... I love Jason. I do. And... that's why I wanted to come back to the States with him."
"You love him?!" Jess squealed, hugging Hayley from side on. "That's so cute!
Have you told him?"
Hayley sighed and shook her head.
"Well..." smiled Leah, "my news is so much cooler then yours."
"Oh yeah?" asked Hayley, "what's your news then?"
"I, Leah Marie Prescott, am... brace yourself..."
The girls leaned forward in anticipation.
"Ready? Are you braced? Well... are you?"
"JUST FUCKING TELL US ALREADY!" shouted Hayley.
"Sheesh, ok. I'm pregnant!"
Courtney smiled, already knowing. Jess and Hayley's jaw dropped.
"Oh... my... GOD! LEAH!" Hayley shouted, reaching across the table and pulling Leah into a hug. Jess's latte got spilt in the process.
"Oh muffins," Hayley giggled, using a napkin to wipe it up.
Oh muffins.
Leah and Courtney looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"What's so funny?" asked Jess.
"Hayley and Jase are TOO alike!"

On the way out of the coffee place, Leah walked past a mirror. She stopped and looked at herself. Her red streaks were gone. Courtney's reflection stared back at her.
"Shit!" she whispered, "Billie's gonna be fucked now."
Courtney came behind Leah and smiled.
"Whatcha lookin' at?"
"You," Leah joked. "My streaks are gone. Billie's gonna get us so confused."
Courtney had a sly look on her face. Leah saw her expression and KNEW what she was thinking.
"So... wanna play an Evil Twins game?" asked Courtney.
"Sure do," smiled Leah.
"Hayles, Jess, wait here for a minute. We've just... gotta use the bathroom."
Courtney threw her clothes over the walls of the toilet; Leah threw hers over as well.
Courtney got dressed in Leah's black The Living End shirt and golfer pants, and red converse shoes. Leah was in a red tank top and three quarter black jeans, with black converse shoes. She pulled her hair up into a pony tail. While, in the other cubicle, Courtney pulled her hair down and let it flop around her shoulders. They swapped jewelry and everything.
They came out and grinned at each other.
"Hello, Leah," Leah said.
"Hello, Courtney," Courtney giggled.
"Remember, YOU'RE now me, and I'M now you. You've gotta respond to MY name, right?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Courtney rolled her eyes, "I get it. I get it."
They walked out of the bathroom and back with Jess and Hayles.
"Let's get going," Leah grinned.
