"I've Done Twins", chapter 33
In the car, Mike and Leah were chatting about Billie and Courtney.
"They seemed pretty cuddly," Mike said.
"They were for sure," Leah grinned, "Courtney and him held hands all night. They
Were kissing a lot too. She may as well have walked around with a sign on her head
Saying 'I just fucked this guy'."
Mike laughed. "Yeah, well, they love each other. That's what people who love each
Other do."
"I love you, but I'm not constantly jumping on you and making an attempt to swallow
your tongue."
"Just remember, no one's stopping you, Lee," He chuckled. He put his hand on her
thigh and smiled over at her quickly. "What's on the agenda for when we get home?"
"Oh, I think you know perfectly well," A cheeky Leah replied.
"Ooh!" Cooed Mike, "Sex?"
"No," Leah said, "I'm going to have a bubble bath. I'm freezing."
Mike turned up the heat in the car.
"I guess I'm just going to have to take a bubble bath with you then," He sighed.
"Don't even think about it," She warned.
"Just TRY and stop me, biatch."
"Loose, footloose, kick off your converse shoes..." Billie sang, as he kicked off his
shoes and threw them onto the pile.
Courtney giggled and placed her shoes neatly in the corner.
"I'm tired," She sighed, "I didn't get a good night's sleep last night."
"Why not?" Asked Billie as he tugged at his socks.
"Because I had Tre laughing at nothing next to me and you on the other side sleep
talking."
"I DO NOT sleep talk!" Billie shouted indignantly.
"I beg to differ," Courtney grinned, pecking his lips.
"C'mon, I wanna go practice guitar."
"Why do I have to come for that?" Whined Courtney.
"I need you to hit the cymbals to keep a rhythm for me," Billie explained, "I like having
a backbeat when I'm playing."
"Yes, you have trouble keeping a rhythm with everything, don't you?" A cheeky
Courtney grinned. Billie looked confused, until he got the sex related joke and shook
his head.
"You're disgusting."
Six Months Later...
"Don't you fucking push me, ya over-sexed bastard! I'm pregnant and I'll walk as fast
as I mother fucking want!"
Leah stuck her lollypop back in her mouth. Mike rolled his eyes and threw a bottle
into the trolley.
"I wish you were more keen to do baby shopping."
"I'm over the moon about baby shopping," She mumbled. "Mike. I told you I'd do it
when I feel better. I'm sick God dammit!"
Leah was sick. Her skin was pale, her eyes were dull and she looked very tired.
"And I feel like an idiot going out dressed in Fat Chick Clothes."
Mike rolled his eyes again. Leah sighed and took his hand. She pulled him to a halt. He
turned and looked into her eyes.
"Mike, I'm sorry I'm being a pain. It's just... I'm kind of... sick and everything. Sorry."
He hugged her and kissed her head.
"It's ok, baby. I understand. And I think you look great in your clothes. Honest."
She playfully punched his arm.
"Don't humor me."
"Only about three months until Leah has that baby," Smiled Hayley as she sat down
with Courtney and Jess.
"I know," Grinned Courtney, "I'll be an aunty. It'll be so cool!"
"Didn't Mike say that he was going to find out the sex of it before it was born?" Asked
Jess.
"Yeah," Courtney said, But Leah wouldn't let him She wants it to be a surprise."
"It'll be a rude shock if it turns out to be a girl when they've bought all boy stuff,"
Laughed Hayley.
"What makes you so sure it's a boy?" Asked Billie.
"Oh, hey!" Courtney said, a little surprised. "You're back from visiting the boys
already?"
"Yeah," He said, "They were going to a friends place tonight so... I didn't get much
hang out time with them."
He kissed Courtney passionately until he noticed Hayley and Jess sitting at the table
staring.
"Hey... girls," He mumbled.
"Hi, Billie. How's your tongue?" Teased Jess.
"Fine. He says hi. Oh, and it also says tell Tre his tongue's wanted for another play
date." Billie joked. Courtney sat back down as Jess gave Billie the finger.
"They've chosen names. According to Lee. She said Mike insisted that if it was a boy,
His name would be Ryan..."
"Typical Mike," Billie interrupted.
"And if it was a girl, her name would be Nikita."
"Nikita?" Everyone asked in unison.
Courtney smiled, "My little niece... or nephew... it's going to have the coolest name!"
"Mike's really serious about calling it Ryan if it's a boy?" Billie asked, sitting down
next to Courtney on the couch.
"Yeah. He's keen on following the Michael Ryan name," Jess giggled.
"Ryan Michael Pritchard..." Billie hummed about it, "That's not too bad."
"Or Nikita Melissa Pritchard," Courtney said.
"Nikita Melissa?" Asked Jess, "After your mother?"
"Yeah. Duh, Miss Fortnight," Hayley laughed.
"Oh would you shut up with that God forsaken nickname! Christ!"
Courtney shuddered thinking about her mother. Leah had told their mother about the
Baby and Melissa (Melissa Nikita Prescott, just pointing out), went nuts about being a
Grandmother.
In the middle of the night, Leah woke up with the taste of ice cream and milkshakes in
her mouth. She wanted a milkshake and ice cream. She NEEDED a milkshake with ice
cream.
"Mike," She whispered, nudging him slightly, "Mike."
Mike woke up and gasped, a little startled.
"What's wrong honey? Are you all right? Is it the baby?" He asked, putting his hand to
her stomach.
"No, babe. It's just... I wanted to know if you'd do me a favor?"
"Leah Marie Prescott! It's one in the morning! What the fuck would you want me to
do this early?"
"Could you run downstairs and make me a milkshake and get me some ice cream?"
His jaw dropped. "At one in the morning? And you want ice cream?"
"And a milkshake," Leah grinned. Mike moaned and rolled over, he shoved his pillow
over his head to cover his ears.
"Mikey, baby... please?" She pleaded. "I'd do it for you."
Mike sighed and got up, freezing cold. He took the cover off the bed and walked away
with it wrapped over his shoulders. Leaving his pregnant girlfriend to shiver insanely
for the next few minutes.
Mike came back with two milkshakes, a DVD and two bowls of ice cream,
professionally balancing it all in his arms.
"All those years at Rod's Hickory Pit paid off, eh sweetheart?" Chuckled Leah.
"No shit," Mike smirked. "I figured because we won't drop off to sleep for a while I'd
grab a movie to watch. That ok?"
"Depends. What movie?"
"Little Nicky," Mike shrugged.
"Oh! Fuck! I love that movie!"
Cuddled up nice and warm, Mike and Leah (and Ryan or Nikita) watched Little Nicky
and ate heaps of ice cream.
Tre crawled under the bed, shaking and shivering. Little Frankito on his right and
Ramona on his left side.
"Don't even breathe..." He whispered to his kids. Footsteps came from the stairs. A
torch flashed through the hallway.
"We're done for," Ramona whispered, with a small shaky voice.
"Daddy..." Whimpered Frankito. Tre saw the legs of the person he was hiding from.
The torch was shining at the roof. Breathing heavily, Tre placed his hands over his
kids' mouths.
"GOTCHA!" The person shouted, shining the torch light in their eyes.
"Aw! Jess! Why are you so good at this game?!" Demanded Ramona.
"I'm the Hide'N'Seek Champ-e-on!" Jess cheered. Frankito hugged Jess's leg.
"Wanna count, Tre?" Jess asked, smiling at him lovingly and holding the torch to his
chest. Tre glanced at his watch.
"Fuck! It's two o'clock! You kids get to bed. C'mon! It's waaay to late to play."
The kids moaned, "Aww, Daaad!"
"Nope. C'mon, Jess you take Kito, I'll take Mona then we'll swap."
Jess picked up Frankito and took him into his room.
"Night sweetie," She said, tucking him in.
"Night-night Jessie," Frankito cooed. Jess smiled sweetly and went over to his door.
"See you in the morning..."
"Jessie," Frankito said quickly, "Don't I get a goodnight kiss?"
Jess grinned with pride as she walked back over and gently pecked Frankito's
forehead.
"Sweet dreams, Kito."
Jess ran into Tre in the hallway, she grinned.
"What?" Asked Tre, putting his arms around her waist.
"He wanted a goodnight kiss. Isn't he just plain a-fucking-dorable?"
"Yeah," Tre looked down, "He's such a wannabe me. Well, at least he knows how to
score with the hot chicks. I taught him that at a young age."
Jess slapped his chest playfully. Tre spun her around and they both walked off to see
the other kid.
Tre was already in bed when Jess came in.
"Tuck me in?" Tre asked innocently. Jess giggled and walked over. She pulled the
covers up to his chest, smoothed them out, then smoothed his hair and fluffed up the
pillow.
"Sweet dreams, babe," She whispered. Just as Jess turned around to walk to her side
of the bed, Tre grabbed her wrist.
"Where in the fuck is my goodnight kiss?" He demanded. Jess kissed his lips, but Tre
deepened it. A moment later, Jess pulled away.
"Go to sleep!"
Billie yawned and sat up.
"Aw, fuck I love my bed," He smiled to himself. Billie stretched his arms up and stood
up. He scratched his ass cheek and stumbled down the stairs sleepily.
Courtney was standing against the kitchen counter when Billie walked in.
"Good morning Starshine," She smiled.
"The Earth says hello," Billie added. She walked over and kissed his lips.
"How'd you sleep?"
"Fine," Billie answered, "Until you rolled ontop of me."
"You loved it," Grinned Courtney.
"No, I only started loving it when clothes went flying across the room," He kissed her
lips softly again.
"I only liked it when clothes were flying back on," She joked.
"Liar."
Mike and Leah were watching some stupid game show. Mike was having a hard time
trying to answer all the questions and Leah just rolled her eyes and watched some
dumb ass guy loose $5000.
After the show, Leah found herself fully kissing Mike. There was a knock on the door.
"Leave it," Leah whispered, kissing Mike's neck.
"I can't," Mike mumbled, "It might be important."
"Doubt it."
He went to stand up, Leah grabbed his and pulled him back down. Because she was
pregnant and had a kind of big stomach, Leah didn't totally straddle Mike. She wanted
to, and Mike wanted her to, but she didn't.
The door swung open, a women's gasp filled the room. Leah's lips stayed pressed to
Mike, her hands stayed up his shirt. Mike's hands were still placed in places he wished
this women wouldn't see. They knew who it was, and were frozen to the spot.
"Leah Marie Prescott?! Is that how I raised you? Come 'ere and give ya mum a hug,
love!"
Mike groaned secretly into Leah's mouth.
"I'm sorry," She whispered. Leah went over and hugged her mother.
"Eh," Leah mumbled, "Hi Mum."
"What are ya doin', Lee? In the middle of the day and your all over him already?"
Melissa, (Leah's mother) asked. Mike and Leah both laughed nervously.
"Mum, I didn't expect you to come over."
"I needed to check out the new place, love. It's a motherly thing." Mel pat Leah's
stomach, "You'll know what I mean in a couple-a months though, eh Lee?"
She walked over to Mike and pat his cheek.
"Nice to see ya again, Mike. How are ya?"
"Fine, Ms Prescott," Mike squeaked.
"Come on, Mike. We're like family now, right?" Mike nodded. "Call me Mel."
Leah made a coffee for Mike and a cup of tea for her mother. Leah had another juice
box, because she was pregnant she wasn't able to have caffine and she didn't like tea.
Melissa went on and on and on about baby things and Leah stood behind Mike,
rubbing his shoulders in an attempt to loosen him up. Mike looked up at her every
minute or two just to smile at her, fully appreciating what she was doing. She smiled
back down at him.
"When's the wedding?" Mel asked. Mike choked on his coffee. He spluttered and
coughed and eventually, ended up running over to the window and spitting it out.
"W-w-wedding?!"
"Mum! Mike and I aren't getting married."
"Oh," Mel looked surprised, "Sorry, it's just... I thought that 'cause you're preggers,
Lee - love - you'd be gettin' married. That's all."
Leah pat Mike's back and kept rubbing his shoulders.
"Mel, Leah and I love each other to pieces and we're going to look after this kid... but
I don't think we're exactly ready for... marriage."
"Why not?" Asked Mel, "If ya livin' together with a bub you should tie the knot.
Besides, she's been living with ya for three months. She's entitled to half of everything
anyway."
Mel got up and went to put her cup in the kitchen. Leah leaned down and whispered in
Mike's ear, "I'm so, so, so, so sorry, baby. It's just..."
"It's ok," Mike smiled, "It's just your mom."
"Mike, love! When was the last time you did the washing?!"
"Fuck!" Hissed Leah, "Grr! I'm gonna fuckin' kill her."
Mike stood up and hugged her. "Baby, don't worry about it. Please. She'll be gone in a
minute. She only came for a coffee."
"Muscles," Mel said quietly, coming back into the room, "I need ya to help me with
my bags. I need a big man like you to carry 'em upstairs."
Leah started hyperventilating. She pressed herself against the wall and slid down.
"This... isn't... good... for... the... baby..." She gasped.
"Um... Mel, you go wait outside while Lee and I get your room ready. Ok?"
Mike lead her upstairs and took her into the spare room.
"Mike, I'm so sorry. I really am. I'll make it up to you..."
He pressed his finger against her lips. She shut up instantly. "It's alright," He
whispered.
"I'll call Courtney, ok? Maybe she can help."
"Billie?" Asked Leah, "Is that you?"
"Yeah," He was breathing pretty heavily and sounded impatient, "What's up?"
"I need Courtney," Leah sighed.
"Well, so do I," He chuckled. Leah heard her sister's giggling in the background.
"Oh for fuck's sake. Tell her Mel's over."
"Honey, 'Mel's' over," He said. Courtney's squeal could now be heard in the
background.
"Lee? Sweetie? Are you there?"
"Courts! Mum's here! I need your help! How do I get rid of her?"
"Erm..." Courtney umm-ed and ahh-ed about it for a while until she finally said,
"Dunno. Have fun. Bye!"
She hung up instantly.
Leah threw down the phone and sighed.
"Stupid fucking horny sister."
"So your Aunt Beth said, 'I dunno, Mel, she's a wild one!'" Mel cracked up laughing,
Leah slid into her seat and Mike pretended to find that joke even remotely funny.
"MIKE! IT'S TRE! CAME TO WATCH THAT PORN MOVIE! YOU HOME?"
Tre's voice screamed through the house. He, Jase and Billie were standing in the
entrance with Erotic Garden Tales: Sins of the Shrubs. Mike went white. Leah went
pretty pale herself. Mel stared at them funnily.
"I don't know what you're talking about..." Mike started, "Do I know you people?
Get outta my house before I call 911!"
"Mike... it's me... Tre!"
"And Billie," Billie added with a grin.
"And Jase!"
"Should I... should I just take Mel out with the girls for a while?" Asked Leah.
"Erm... yeah," Mike nodded. Leah grabbed her mother, called Courtney, Jess and
Hayley and took them to the mall while the boys watched Sins of the Shrubs.
When the girls came back, Tre, Billie and Jason were just leaving. Giving Tre a hug,
Jess asked about the movie.
"It had a difficult story line," Tre joked, "I couldn't figure out which chick was sucking
and which chick was fucking."
Jess slapped his arm. Tre laughed and moaned in pain at the same time.
"Sins of the Shrub!" Hayley said in a theme voice, "Watch, as Peppermint the Shrub
sucks off Rosemary the Herb Bush!"
"Chicks can't suck each other off," Jason said intelligently, "They don't have much to
suck."
"Oh, I beg to differ," Hayley grinned, holding her hands to her chest.
"Oh... mental picture," Mike gagged, "Ew... Hayley... don't ever put sexual images in
my head... ever."
"Can I?" Asked Tre.
"Sure."

Leah stuck her lollypop back in her mouth. Mike rolled his eyes and threw a bottle
into the trolley.
"I wish you were more keen to do baby shopping."
"I'm over the moon about baby shopping," She mumbled. "Mike. I told you I'd do it

"Sure."
