"I've Done Twins", chapter 5

The Next Morning...

"Happy birthday," cheered Tre, leaning over Leah and waking her up. Leah sat up,
rubbed her eyes, and smiled.

"Thank you, Tre." She reached up and kissed his cheek. "Where's Courtney?"

"Over there," he pointed to the door. She was standing there, in her short, pink silk night dress and smiling. Her dark brown hair was in low pigtails behind her head and her blue eyes sparkled. She lifted her skinny arm up and waved at Leah. And Leah did the same.

"Happy birthday, sis," Leah smiled.

"Happy birthday, Lee Lee," she laughed.

Leah got out of bed and hugged her sister. She wasn't looking like Courtney at all. It would be incredibly hard to mistake them now. Seeing as Leah had one of Tre's large AC/DC shirts (the one he gave her) and dark blue boxers with basketballs on them (because basketball was her favourite sport).

Tre, Leah, and Courtney went into the loungeroom, a few presents were on the couch, where Billie, Jason, and Mike were sitting.

"Happy birthday, girls!" They said in unison.

"Thank you," said Courtney.

"Yeah, thanks," giggled Leah.

"Come open your presents," Jason said excitedly. The girls sat down on the floor.

"Uh... since you're the oldest, Leah, you open yours first," said Mike, handing her a present.

"It's from me," grinned Billie.

"Aw, thank you, Billie." She smiled. She read the card first, "To Leah, thanks for being a fantastic friend these past couple of years, sorry for mistaking you for Courts. Happy birthday, hope you get whatever you wanted! Love, Billie Joe, xx."

Everyone was smiling and excited as Leah slowly unwrapped the present. It pissed
Courtney off Leah just ripped the wrapping paper off and read the cards later.

"Billie," she gasped, looking up. "How did you know?"

"Know what?" Asked Jason.

She held up a black shirt with a crossbone and heaps of little punk rock symbols and writing on it.

"I've wanted this shirt for so long! Thank you!" She reached up, pulled
him down, and hugged him with one arm.

Mike handed her another present.

"That's mine," Jason said, a little timidly. "Hope you like it."

"I'm sure I will," she smiled, getting up and hugging him. She kissed his cheek lightlyand said, "Thanks, Jase."

She read the card, "To our Little Leah," she looked up in a sarcastic way,
"Happy birthday and have a great day, hope you like your present, because I put a lot of effort into it! Haha, love Jason xx."

She grinned at him.

"That's cute," said Courtney.

She opened the present. It was a black book, with Leah's name written in pretty purple glitter and stickers around it. She opened the book. It was the most amazing scrapbook she had ever seen. She gasped, then chuckled.

"Oh my God, Jason! This is fantastic! Did you do this all by yourself?" She asked, staring at him in amazement.

"Yeah," Jason shrugged, "and it's not really that great, there are a few spelling mistakes."

Everyone chuckled.

"Thank you, Jase, I love it."

"Here's my present," said Courtney, handing her a small box-shaped present.

"Thank you, Courts." Leah smiled, giving her sister a kiss on the cheek. "No card?" She asked, laughing.

"Nope," replied Courtney, "I hate cards."

Leah opened the present, it was a MurderDolls necklace.

"Courtney," she squealed, hugging her sister, "I love it!"

"You're welcome," grinned Courtney.

"Hey," Tre said indignantly, "What about my present?"

"Oh, yeah," Jason said, "Where is your present, Tre? It's not on the pile. Only Mike's is left."

"That's because..." Tre started, "I hid it somewhere else - be right back!"

He ran out the back and came back about a minute later, with a large white box with many holes in it. It had a red bow around it. Leah smiled and took the box.

"Don't shake it," Tre smiled, "For the love of God, don't shake it."

Leah took off the bow and smiled. "No card?" She asked again.

"Nope," Tre smiled, "I hate cards too."

"I don't," she mumbled, tying the bow in Billie's hair. She opened the box, where a small kitten was sitting.

"Tre," she squealed, "It's gorgeous!"

Courtney gasped, "Oh my God! It's adorable!"

Jason and Billie both 'aww-ed' in unison. Tre grinned and Leah put the cat on Mike's lap and leaped up to hug Tre.

"What are you gonna call it?" Asked Billie.

"Uh..." Leah thought about it, "Maybe... Tre-Tre."

Tre laughed, "Hey, that's cool!"

The little black ball of fur that Leah had just received meowed and its green eyes
fixed onto Leah.

"My turn," Courtney said loudly.

"Wait a minute," said Leah, "I don't recall getting a present from you, Mike."

"That's because, Leah Marie..." grinned Courtney, as Leah went red.

"Leah-Marie," snorted Tre.

"Mike's present for you was left lucky last," Courtne finished.

"Gee, thank you for that, Courtney Jade," she snapped.

"Courtney Jade," Tre laughed, "Hah! Were your parents stoned when they named
you?"

"Slightly," both the girls replied in unison.

Mike shyly put his present in Leah's hand.

"Happy birthday, Leah." He smiled. Leah stood up and sat on Mike's lap. Again, Mike enjoyed the moment. Leah leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you, Mikey," she grinned. The present was thin, like paper. "No card?"

"Nah," Mike smiled, "Waste of time, the present will say it all."

She opened the present - two tickets to an all-day spa.

"You lucky bitch," muttered Courtney.

"Mike," she laughed, "This is fantastic!"

Jason smiled, "There's two tickets - who else are you taking?" He leaned over and
fluttered his eyelashes at Leah, "Because, y'see, I really love you, Leah, baby."

"Humph," Leah grunted, "Yeah, right, Jase. Nah, I'm taking Mike along with me."

"Oh!" Courtney said in shock, "You'd choose him over your own
sister?! Your twin sister?!"

"Well," shrugged Leah, "He bought me the tickets, he should come. You bought me the MurderDolls necklace, so... I'll let you wear it sometimes."

Billie laughed, "Does this mean I get to wear that shirt sometimes?"

"Bill," smiled Tre, "As sexy as a tight girly shirt would look on you, she wouldn't let
ya."

"Damn," grinned Billie, "I was gonna wear it as a surprise for Jason's birthday."

Jason stared at Billie, "Don't you dare!"

"I was gonna jump outta your cake and give you a lap dance," joked Mike.

"Oh, I don't have a problem with you doing that, Mike," laughed Jason.

"Excuse me," shouted Courtney, "I believe we have some presents for me!"

"What gave you that idea?" Smirked Tre. Courtney smiled sarcastically at him.

"Yep," smiled Billie, sitting down next to her, "Here's one from me."

"Thank you," Courtney grinned, kissing his lips sweetly.

Leah smiled softly and quickly looked away. Courtney ripped it open. It was the black skirt with red rips in it she had been eyeing all year.

"Yes!" she screamed. She got up and danced, "I SO wanted this!"

Jason danced in the spot and Mike laughed. Courtney kissed Billie Joe passionately.

"Thank you so much, Billie!"

"You're welcome, babe," Billie laughed.

"Happy birthday, Courts," Tre smiled, handing Courtney her present from him.
Courtney thanked him and Tre insisted she kiss his cheek, again. She couldn't resist.

Again, the present was quickly ripped open. And Courtney's eyes lit up. It was a Family Guy box set on DVD.

"Tre..." she gasped, "You are a fucking God!"

"I know, I know," Tre bowed. She hugged him and thanked him again.

"This is awesome," grinned Jason, "We can have a Family Guy marathon!"

"Damn straight," snapped Leah, "This baby's goin' STRAIGHT into the DVD
player!"

"You're not watching it," mock-hissed Courtney, "You didn't take me to the day
spa."

"Don't hold a grudge," laughed Leah.

Jason handed her a small present, "It was so hard shopping for you, Courts, I had no idea what to get you."

"Are you kidding?!" Exclaimed Leah, "Buy her any item of clothing and she's instantly yours!"

Courtney demolished the wrapping paper and looked at the little bear Jason had
bought her. Her heart melted.

"Aww," she cooed, "Jason, it's soo CUTE!"

Tre-Tre, the kitten, leaped up onto the teddy and started playing with it. Leah took her kitten back and pet him.

"Bad Tre-Tre," she smiled, "Attack Courtney, not the teddy."

"Hey," she snapped.

"Before you get attacked by the kitten," Mike said, "Happy birthday, Courtney."

"Thank you, Mike, my dear," she grinned, catching the present Mike threw at her.

"What is it?"

"A surprise," muttered Jason.

"Really?" Snapped Courtney, sarcastically. She opened the present and pulled out the pink Converses inside. "This'll be wicked with my skirt!"

Mike smiled, "You need a new pair, your old Convos are goin' to hell."

"I'll say," Leah laughed, pointing over near the door where her scuffed old pink
Converses were.

Tre bent down and picked up all the wrapping paper on the floor. Just as he lifted it up, Tre-Tre jumped on him and started attacking Tre's hand.

Tre screamed and shook his hand hard.

"No," shouted Leah, "Tre, stop it, you'll hurt him!"

The kitten let go and flew to the floor, landing clumsily on his feet.

"You idiot!" Snapped Leah, "You could have hurt him!"

Tre sucked the blood coming from the scratches on his arm, "That thing tried to kill me!"

"He did not," she snapped, "He was trying to play."

Leah picked up her kitten and pet his head.

"Animal rights, Tre," Jason mock-snapped.

"Whatever," he mumbled.
