Dreams come true, chapter 5
Sam leaned forward over the sink in the bathroom to put on her eyeliner. Arms wrapped around her waist as she spotted Tre in the mirror. Sam smiled and finished putting on the last bit of eyeliner. Tre buried his face in her neck.
"I love you so much baby." Tre said.
"I love you too Tre." Sam said.
"Baby, there's something I need to tell you." Tre said.
"What is it?" Sam asked as she turned in a naked Tre's arms.
Sam quickly put their lips together and pulled away slowly.
"I'm going on tour tomorrow." Tre said with sadness in his voice.
He looked at the ground and closed his eyes as if in thought. Sam's smile faded as she realized Tre would be gone for a long time. A light bulb went off in Sam's head as she got an idea.
"How long will you be gone?" Sam asked.
"Four months." Tre responded.
"Can I go with you?" Sam asked.
Tre sighed and lightly shook his head.
"Sorry baby, I really want you to come but you can't."
Sam wrapped her arms around Tre's neck and gave him a long, tight hug.
"You can't go." Sam mumbled.
"I'm sorry but I have to." Tre responded.
Tre let Sam go and kissed her lips.
"Let me get dressed and we can go do something." Tre said.
Tre gave Sam a kiss before leaving the bathroom to get changed. Sam followed after him and watched Tre get dressed. T
re turned around after he was dressed and asked "What?"
"Nothing, I'm just looking at your sexy body." Sam replied.
Tre quirked his right eyebrow at her.
"How sexy is my body?" Tre asks seductively.
"On a scale of one to ten, I'd say a ten."
Tre smirked.
"I just put these on, I plan on wearing them for a little longer." Tre said coyly.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm positive. I want to ask you something." Tre said.
Tre stepped into Sam's personal bubble and rubbed his hands up and down his arms.
"What is it?" Sam asked as she got lost in his eyes.
"When I get back from the tour, do you want to get married?" Tre asked.
Sam took a minute to think about her answer. If she said yes then she'd be married to the hottest guy she knew, and if she didn't then Tre would feel rejected and she'd have to wait to be married. Sam bit her lower lip and waited until she had completely made up her mind.
"Let's take the plunge and go for it." Sam responded.
Tre's face lit up and it was if a new spark of happiness was ignited.
"You really mean it?" Tre asked.
"Yes." Sam responded while nodding her head.
Tre was happier then a kid in a candy store. Sam could see in his eyes how much he wanted her to say yes.
"Mom, I can't do this by myself. Tre is going to be home in a month and nothing seems done." Sam said into the phone while running a hand through her hair.
"Calm down honey, everything is almost done. All that's left is going to pick out a dress."
"I'm stressing mom. I can't do it anymore."
"I'll be over in a few minutes honey, keep calm and don't do anything stupid."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Sam snapped.
"Nothing, just hold tight."
The phone line went dead. Sam groaned and hung up the phone.
Sam was completely stressed out; everything seemed like so much to do, although her mom was right when she said everything was almost done. Sam didn't want her wedding dress to be traditional white but she was having trouble finding one that she really liked that wasn't white.
Sam's mom rushed through the door and started looking for her daughter.
"Sam, are you okay?" Her mom called.
Sam came out of the kitchen holding a mug of coffee.
"Yes, why?" Sam asked.
Something was up and Sam knew it.
"Why do you keep asking if I'm okay?" Sam asked.
"I'm just worried honey. The last time you were stressed this much you almost killed yourself." Sam's mom said.
"I what?" Sam asked.
"Don't you remember?" Sam's mom asked.
"No." Sam exclaimed.
Sam would never try to kill herself on purpose. Sam hated her life but she would never take it away, because deep down she knew she wanted to live even if life got shitty. One of her friends once told her if life gets you down, kick it in the face and come back with a vengeance. Sam put down the mug of coffee and took a few seconds to think about what her mother said.
"Let's get off this topic before I say something I don't want to." Sam said.
"Do you have any ideas for a dress?" her mom asked, trying to get off the subject of death.
"At this point I don't care, I'll walk down the aisle nude if I have to." Sam said.
"Sam, stop being stupid." Her mom said.
"I'm fed up with everything. I can't do this. It was a bad idea."
Sam's mom grabbed her shoulders and made Sam look her in the eye.
"Get a grip and calm down."
"Oh my god, what's wrong with me?" Sam asked.
"You love this guy that's what's wrong with you." Sam's mom said.
"Help mom." Sam said.
"I will, but you have to calm down."
Sam nodded her head and took a deep breath. She calmed herself down and sat down in a kitchen chair that her mother brought out.
"Let's go looking right now, we have the afternoon." Her mother said.
Sam stood up from the chair and straightened out her Minor Threat t-shirt. Sam grabbed her keys and left the house with her mother.
"I love you so much baby." Tre said.
