Homeroom, chapter 1
"Grab all this stuff," yelled Katherine's mom.
"1 sec mom," Katherine called back.
Katherine and her mom had just moved to a new town, called "Stroud" (with the popuation of 7000 ). Katherine was a very quiet girl who wasn't very outspoken, her mom did most of talking for her. Katherine had brown, long hair that usually shagged in her eyes. Her mom Jessica was over controlling ever since the passing of her beloved husband. It almost drove her paranoid. It made Katherine crazy sometimes.
Katherine ran downstairs and grabbed a few of her boxes and unpacked them in her room. Her mom spent the rest of the day doing the same thing. After a few hours they settled down to eat.
It was pretty slient untill Jessica broke it.
"So nervous for tomorrow?, It is a big day, I mean new school new friends," asked her mom.
"Kinda but not really," she replied. But she really was nervous. Katherine knew that she probably wouldn't meet any new friends. She wasn't really that outgoing or preppy type, and if her mom picked her outfit then she knew no one would talk to her.
"That's good! I picked out your outfit so you can be ready for my baby's big day!," Jessica said in a precky voice.
"Oh great!" Katherine said, very great sarcasm.
After dinner Katherine went and watched tv and was in bed by 11:00.
**NEXT DAY**
"Wake up, wake up," Katherine's mom was gently poking at her neck.
"Its a big day," She said.
"I know," Katherine replied. After a few more pokes she was up. She brushed her teeth and ate, then the worst moment of getting her clothes. She walked up the wooden stairs to find a very fugly pick frilly skirt and a flowery shirt to go with it laying on her bed. She had no other choice, she put it on and didnt complain, walked down the stairs and left for school with out saying good bye.
When Katherine got to school she quickly ran to the office to find out where her first class was, a lot of people were giving her mean looks when she walked into the room but it didnt seem to bother Katherine. She had to report to homeroom, which was room 104. She walked into find a room filled with differnt types of people. She walked up to the top of class. A lot of more gothic people filled the seats. She sat down only to find that a huge girl of the originally sat there.
"Get out of my seat prep, you better learn your place at this school you cunt," the girl yelled. Katherine picked her bags up and ran down to the front where she soon made friends with some people.
"So I can so tell you're new here, going to sit with the creeps in the back ha!" said one girl.
"I don't think that they're creeps, they're probably pretty normal, when they're not angry," Katherine said back.
"No!" said the girl and turned her head to talk to the boys beside her.
"Bitch," Katherine mummbled and turned.
After her first class Katherine walked outside to find a lot of girls standing outside of the door.
"Oh my god! Chad is so hot look at him today," said one girl with blonde hair. Katherine quickly walked past the girls so they won't say anything to her. Katherine was walking so fast that she bumped into a girl and her books went flying everywhere.
"WHO DID THAT! I WILL BEAT THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF YOU!" the girl yelled. A whole bunch of girls pointed to Katherine, and Katherine was just about to walk away when the girl and her posse grabbed her arm.
"YOU GOING DOWN," the six girls yelled. The girls were beating Katherine till the teacher walked outside. Katherine got up and ran down the hall, she didnt want to talk to some teacher, she just wanted to go home. She sat at the end of the hallway beside a door. After awhile a bunch of kids came out of the room, she ducked so they wouldn't see her.
But then a boy around Katherine's age walked up to her and looked at her as if he felt her pain. Then she saw him..
