Billie And His Ghosts, chapter 2
Two weeks later I was sitting cross-legged on Billie's dresser when he walked into the room with a boy that I had only seen once in a picture. He was a few inches taller than Billie, maybe two, and he had dark brown hair and gorgeous blue eyes. I watched as he walked around the room, looking at everything, sort of reviewing. He walked up to the dresser where I was sitting and put an arm on it, using it as a cripple would use a crutch.
"Nice Bill. Sure, it's smaller than your other house, but you'll get used to it." said the boy, looking at Billie with his diamond eyes.
"Yeah, I guess. Did I tell you what happened last week?" asked Bill, quickly changing the subject.
"No. But I suppose you're going to, so I won't even ask." said Mr. Gorgeous, smirking.
"Well, after dinner I came back up here, right? And there's this chick standing next to my bed." said Billie, going full throttle into his story. My throat suddenly became dry, well, it felt that way. Billie's friend walked over to the bed and sat on it across from Billie, who was sitting against the wall in a rolling chair.
"Well, Bill, that's happened before, you know. Like, remember that chick who kept saying she had wild and rampant sex with you and was blaming you for her life going so bad?" said the boy, grinning. I swear that if I was alive, that grin would have me so hot and bothered.
"Ha ha. But you don't know the half of it, smart ass. So, I asked her who she was and she was all surprised that I could see her. And then she disappeared."
Just as Billie's friend was about to answer, Billie's mom knocked on the door and told him that he had company. The door opened and a girl walked in. She looked around my age, at about 4'11" she had deep blue eyes and reddish-brown hair with hot pink underneath.
"Hey Mike, hey Bill." she said as she walked over to Billie and gave him a kiss before sitting in his lap.
I almost fell off of the dresser when I realized who she was. The one person I could count on, and would always be there for me. The one who was strongest when the police told her that they had found my body. And she was my sister, well, at heart.
Mia.
