Forever Running, chapter 7

I had butterflies in my stomach at what Billie Joe had said to me. I'd only just met him but he was my world. It didn't matter whether to me if I never saw this town again. I hated life, but it if I spent the rest of mine with Billie nothing could make me hate it so much again. Things were much different with him, he really loved me, that was a lot to say about me considering my life.

"Do you know what I like most about you, Sarah?" He broke the silence that surrounded us. I was curious.
"What?" I wanted to know. He looked into my eyes and I smiled. He stared at me for a moment or two before saying,
"There are so many things so I can't decide, but I love your smile, your eyes, your will to never give up this fight, and I really love the fact that I have all this, in my arms now"

He really charmed me, that was amazing. That was THE most wonderful someone had said to me. Suddenly we both heard a thump.

"What was that?!" I grabbed onto Billie.

Someone was coming closer to the car Billie looked into the rear view mirror. His face told me everything. Whoever it was, they were trouble.

"Oh my god!" Was all he could tremble.

He frantically started searching around the car. He opened the glove box and emptied it of the maps and pulled out a kosh.

"What's that for," I cried.

He stopped as he was getting out the car and told me,
"Don't worry it's for our protection" Billie Joe re-assured me. I climbed out the car and was amazed at what I saw...
