Say Cheese!, chapter 2

I pulled away, as he patted me on the shoulder.

"You wanna talk about it?"

I really couldn't believe this. I'd known this guy less then fifteen minutes, and still, there I am telling him my life story. But, still, it helped me and he didn't seem to mind. Unless he's just very good at hiding his feelings.

I explained my whole situation with him. My family, how my biological father murdered his brother right in front of me when I was four. How the multiple murder attempts from my older brother and older sister had all failed. All about Tom, and Bobby. My mother. Jimmy. And bull dog Jimmy. He sat and listened. Finally, I finished.

"I'm sorry." he mumbled, looking pretty shocked.

I shrugged.

"Yeah, you really have been through the works." said a voice from behind me. I spun around to see Mike with a really serious expression his face.

"It's nothing compared to what some kids my age have been through."

"It's still a lot." replied Billie Joe. I shrugged.

"But, it's just sad, you know. I mean, the last thing Jimmy said to me was 'at night, look at the moon, and I'll look at it too. Find me when you can. ' I have to do that one day."

Billie nodded.

"Anyway, let's lighten the mood a little." I cried, startling Mike, who was still looking really serious. I can't stomach people who take things too seriously. I don't like unhappy things. Yes, I have my moments. But, doesn't everyone?

"When? How?"

"No time like the present!" I beamed, "You have a CD player?"

Mike nodded, looking partly serious, partly confused, and motioned his head in the direction of his room. I ran out, followed by the two boys. I put one of my CD's into the player and cranked up the volume to the max. Then pressed play. Just as Billie Joe and Mike entered the room, an ear shattering scream filled the room, loud enough so that even the people in the outback had to hold their ears. After a few seconds, Mike launched himself into the air, landed on the floor in front of it and switched it off. I received very, very confused and puzzled looks from the two other people occupying the room.

"What in Satans name was that?" cried Billie Joe in disbelief.

"My calming music." I mumbled, quite disappointed. Both of them looked at me like I'd just admitted I was a man dressed as a woman dressed as a man in drag.

"Calming music?"

"Yup."

"And what time are you due back at the mental institution?"
I glared at him.

"Three." I muttered, beginning to smile. I glanced at their faces.

She looked up, beginning to grin. God, this girl was weird. But, a nice kind of weird. I like her. You couldn't stay mad or confused at her.

"Maybe you should get some headphones?" I grinned back to her.

"I already got some." she mumbled, still grinning from ear to ear.

"I like you. I am now officially christen you as my new... When's your birthday?"

"May 8th."

"New baby sister!" I declared, wrapping my arm around her neck and pointing my finger into the air for more effect. Bill was just stood in the corner, grinning.

"Can I have some holy water?" he asked. Cleo suddenly wriggled out of my grasp and dashed out of the room. Before I could do anything, she'd tipped a glass of water over him. I held back the laugher to see how he'd react.

"In the name of the father the son and the holy spirit?" she giggled.

"Amen." he finished, putting one hand on his hip and the other around my 'new baby sister's' waist.

I applauded, just to give it that little bit more effect.

"Thank you, thank you." Cleo began, through the laughter, "First of all, I'd like to thank Jimmy for all his little doggy support. Secondly, I'd like to thank Mr Armstrong, for not attempting to murder me for the holy water incident.."

"Hey, who said I wasn't gonna kill you?" smirked Billie.

"Shut it, you're ruining my moment," she snapped, then continued, "And finally, I'd like to thank Mike, for his excellent clapping. Thank you Mike, come up here, no wait, down off the bed to get the appreciation for your talent you deserve. Punk's and punkettes, Mr Mike!"

I got down off the bed where I was still stood with my hand in the air, and took the 'mic' from her.

"Well, I'd like to thank all the same people, though, I'd like to thank all the little people in the world, my thought's are with you. And, Dr Iamtotallysaneevenaftertreatingcleo, for taking care and at last trying to save my baby sister. It's a shame that her brain had already been eaten by clowns."

Then it went silent.

"Shame we didn't get that on tape." sighed Cleo after a moment or two. With that, we all cracked up.

I like my new baby sister. She seems a nice, funny, genuine person.

After calming down slightly, we all collapsed in Cleo's room.

"Hey, let's do yoga!" yelled Cleo, totally randomly and sitting on the floor in front of a totally bemused looked Billie and me. We gave her funny looks.

"What?" she demanded, tapping the spaces on the floor either side of her.
Billie smirked and sat on her right. I sighed, and sat on her left.

"Now then, people, we're trying to reach inner peace. So repeat after me." she began

I smiled, closing my eyes, shaking my head.

"We will reach inner peace. We shall find the being within."

Me and Billie both repeated in unison in qa monotone kind of way.

"Come on chap's. Look lively!" he cried, faking a posh English accent. I flashed her a grin, before closing my eyes again.

"There is a being within. We shall reach him. We shall bring him to the surface. We both have an extreme crush on Elton John..."

We both repeated her again, then realized what we had just said. She burst into a fit of laughter. I laughed slightly. Billie just was smiling, looking at her. Finally, she calmed down and began to regain normalness.

%Cleo's POV%

Mike was just staring at me, smiling and shaking his head, almost knowingly. I looked over at Billie Joe who was staring at me. I flashed him a funny face and he laughed.

"I'm hungry. Who wants pizza?" declared Mike, pulling a cell phone from his pocket and dialling a number.

"I'm in!" cried Billie, raising his hand.

"Me too!" I added.

"Okay, I'll have two large Margherita's and some fries delivered please. What!? Why not!? Well, I want pizza. Fine I will1! Yes! BYE!"

We both looked at him weirdly.

"I'll be back in about half an hour. I gotta go get the pizzas." Explained Mike, getting up and exiting. By the lsam of the front door a few moments later, I guessed he'd gone. That left me and Billie Joe.

"So..." he mumbled, coming and sitting next to me. I blushed slightly, I don't know why.

"Are you okay?" he asked, putting his arm around me. I looked at him, straight into his electric green eyes.

"Billie Joe..."
