Jimmy Died Today, He Blew His Brains Out Into The Bay.., chapter 2
The next day Billie woke up at about 7 in the morning, only, he wasn't feeling very much like Billie. He was feeling very different.
He stumbled out of bed and into the bathroom. He looked in the mirror and turned on the water to brush his teeth and wash his face. After he washed his face, he swished his mouth out with Listerine and patted his face dry.
"Morning Jimmy," he told himself, smiling at the mirror's reflection. He walked back into the bedroom, the same smile playing across his face. He changed out of his boxers and into some jeans and a black t shirt. His feet were covered in socks, and he trotted down the stairs and into the kitchen to make himself some toast.
He choose a sharp knife, instead of a butter knife, to spread the jelly. He stared at the knife, looked at his reflection on the blade, mistified by it. Creepy eh? He took a bite into his first piece and wiped the crumbs away from his mouth.
He stayed downstairs, watching TV and drinking beer for about two hours until Adrienne came downstairs in her pajama pants and a t-shirt.
"Hunny, what time did you get up?"
His green orbs looked over at her. "About 7," he grumbled.
"And you've just been down here watching TV, doing nothing?" she laughed.
"Uuuhh huuh."
She walked over to him and kissed his forehead. Her elbows propped her up and she leant over on the armrest. "How about, when the boys wake up, we go out for breakfast?"
"I already had some toast," he responded.
"Oh c'mon Billie."
His fingers twitched when she said that name. It wasn't his. His was Jimmy, and he wanted to be called Jimmy. But he couldn't tell her that.
"Ugh, sure," he responded grumpily.
She smiled with satisfaction and went upstairs to get dressed and wash her face.
Suddenly, he jerked his head to the left. "Jimmy, why do you have to be so mean to his wife?"
"I told you Jesus, I don't like her. Bitch gets on my nerves," he responded, head jerking to the right now. The jerking continued, to the right when Jimmy talked to Jesus, and to the left when Jesus talked to Jimmy.
"I know that, but Billie loves her, besides, you'd better get used to her, it's not like you can get rid of her or anything."
An evil grin suddenly appeared on his face. "Says who?"
"Jimmy, you and I both know better than to attempt something like that. The outcome would be much too upsetting."
"Oh shut up, I hate when you try to put a guilt trip on me. You don't have to do anything, I'll do it."
"No! I won't let you kill Adrienne, or anyone else for that matter."
"Watch me."
"Morning Dad!" Joey called from the top of the stairs.
Billie suddenly snapped into himself again, not knowing anything that had just taken place.
"Hey man," he said smiling.
"Mom said we're going to I-hop?" Joey asked excitedly.
"Oh, uh, sure, I guess," Billie responeded, kind of confused. "Well then I guess you'd better go get dressed, tell Jakob too."
"Okay," and with that, Joey disappeared into Jakob's room to wake him up.
