A, B, C, D, E, F, Green Day, chapter 16
Adie and Katie looked around as they heard the sound of someone walking. The floor creaked as they saw Mike walking in. He looked a mess.
His hair was messed up in spikes and he looked like he hadn't slept in weeks. He headed straight for the coffeemaker.
After a gulp of coffee he perked up. "Did someone say my name?" he asked after a few more drinks.
"Yeah, just that Adie kicked your butt in x-box. That's all," Katie laughed as she saw the shock on Mike's face.
"If I had had more practice I would have beat her," he sulked.
"Sure you would have," Adie smiled.
She has this sweet smile that can brighten up anyone's day. That was the first thing that always got a guys attention after they checked her out.
"Don't worry. You'll beat her next time," Katie said, punching Mike in the arm.
"So speaking of fun, what happened with you and Billie last night? You guys made enough noise to wake the dead," Mike said, laughter in his eyes.
"Yeah, Mike that's why she's still alive. She has Billie around to keep her alive," Adie smiled slyly, walking over to sit next to Mike.
"I have a lot more important things then Billie to live for. Like I get to watch all the guys have major hangovers. Nothing is more is more fun than that," she grinned evilly.
"Ha ha! You don't get to laugh at me cuz I'm not hung over!" Mike laughed.
"Not yet. You will be though. Hits you right out of nowhere," Adie said, sitting on the counter next to Mike.
As if his body were responding to what she had just said, Mike ran in the direction of the bathroom.
"Told you," Adie said as both the girls laughed.
"Where is Billie anyway?" Adie asked, picking up the cup of coffee Mike had left and taking a drink.
"I think he's still up-"
"I'm right here. Did you miss me?" Billie interrupted as he walked into the kitchen. He had a pair of old jeans on and no shirt. He was walking around in his bare feet. Something he wouldn't want to be doing once they all started throwing up.
"Yes, I did," Katie laughed, as Billie walked over next to her.
"Billie put a shirt on. You're making the single people jealous," Adie said, throwing a shirt that was on the counter at Billie's head.
"Jealous of what?" Katie asked.
"How great I look and that you're my girl," Billie said, squeezing her close.
"Duh, I want a relationship too. I guess I'll have to give into Tre or Mike. But who?"
"Don't string them along for too long. Tre gets bored easy, so you might want to try with Mike," Billie laughed, going to grab something out of the fridge.
"Stupid Billie. Remember Mike broke the fridge?" Tre said as he came in.
"I did not!" Mike yelled from the bathroom.
"Yes he did," Tre whispered.
"Then that's one more thing I need to put on my list today then. Kick Tre's butt," Billie said, pulling out a warm soda.
"What else were you planning on doing?" Katie asked, giving Tre a kick as he walked by, just for the heck of it.
"Well, we have to go back to your place and get your stuff. Cuz you said you were coming with me, right? I'm sure you'd remember. You have a better memory than good old Tre. Cuz when something breaks Tre forgets about it," Billie laughed, giving Tre a noogie.
"I remember, among other things," Katie grinned.
"I thought so," Adie smiled, stirring Mike's coffee with her index finger.
"Hey, don't contaminate my coffee!" Mike yelled as he came back into the kitchen.
"You're in no condition to drink it. So just watch me drink it," Adie said as she took another drink.
"I'm in any mood to drink coffee. Even if I have to throw it up a minute later," he said, lifting Adie off the counter and taking his coffee.
"A lover's spat! Owwwwwww!" Billie grinned.
"You better shut it Billie or else your girl will kick your can. She's more then capable," Tre said, wanting to watch the results.
"She wouldn't cuz she loves me too much," Billie said surely.
"Don't think I won't if you're bad," Katie grinned, giving Tre a high five.
"Is that a threat or a promise?" Billie smiled.
"Both. So when are we going back to hell house?" Katie said, looking at her stomach. Since she had woke up it hadn't felt too well.
"I guess as soon as we can. We have to get on the road sometime this week and you're coming with me," Billie laughed, pulling Katie into his arms.
"I guess. About now my mom's too drunk to tell the difference between the couch and the cat."
"Good luck solider," Adie smiled, saluting Katie.
"Thank you sir!" Katie laughed.
After Billie got his shirt on, the two walked out the door to Billie's beat up car.
