A, B, C, D, E, F, Green Day, chapter 3
I woke up in the morning to find Billie Joe standing above me. All I could do was smile cuz he was doing exactly what I loved to do. Which was watch him while he was sleeping.
"Morning Kat. Did you know that you talk in your sleep? You were saying stuff like 'pass the beer and Billie you are so hott'" laughed Billie Joe.
"Yeah. Speaking of that you got any coffee? My head is on fire."
"Sorry, Mike is more of the coffee guy. I just order Tre around to get the beer. Plus I see that you found the shirt that Mike tried to clean. I'm gonna go get something to eat, want to come?"
"Sure just let me get dressed."
" I like what you are wearing now. Just keep it on and I'll go steal Tre's keys to the bookmobile."
As he said the thing about my clothes I took a closer look. She was wearing her torn jeans with the tear in the knee and set of her pants. And her t-shirt was about in the same condition, only there was a slight tear where the neck met the shirt. I could see why he would like what I was wearing. So I decided to take his advice and just walked downstairs to meet him in the car.
" So where do you want to eat at? I mean since your back in town you should pick. Plus I would think the food on tour sucks."
" Yeah it really does. Especially with beer. I think Arby's would be good. I haven't had one of their burgers in months."
" More like days. You ate one at the 7-eleven yesterday. Plus who eats burgers for breakfast?"
" Apparently I do," Billie Joe laughed, wearning that evil little grin he was know for when he was on tour.
" That's the Billie Joe I know," I said as i moved closer to Billie Joe. Just close enough that he was able to plant a small kiss on the top of my head. It sent a shiver down the back of my spine.
We reached Arby's in less then 15 minutes. I only ordered a hashbrown, while Billie Joe, being the pig he is, bought a cheeseburgar, soda, fries, and a cookie.
I asked if you could go somewhere other then back to the house. Cuz the guys reminded me of the family that I didn't have. I mean I loved hanging with the guys and all, but it just hurt sometimes to see them as the family I wished I was able to have.
" Sure thing. Plus I have a song or two that I want you to check out. I really like the latest one, 409 in Your Coffee Maker. I think Mike will like the name, don't you?"
" Yeah, anything that has to do with coffee will get him going. Let's head to the park where we used to hangout before you became Mr. Hot Shot Armstrong and forgot all about us little people."
" I thought about you the whole time when I was one tour. Plus for all you know I turned down every girl in the crowd cuz I said in the beginning that I had a special girl back home," Billie Joe said, giving me a soft kiss on the cheek.
Maybe Billie Joe was different then my last boyfriend. Maybe it would turn out okay unlike the rest of my life.
Or would it?
