A, B, C, D, E, F, Green Day, chapter 7

"Finally! Dead girl walking!" was the first thing that Adrienne cried out when she saw me come in the door of the Arby's restruant.

"Who are you calling dead!? I still look younger than you and you're only a few months older then me," I laughed right along with her.

"So since dead girls don't carry money around I'll pay for the first round of beer. Since you're only 13 how did you get your butt down here anyway?"

"Usual way. I had a friend of mine make a fake ID for me and it says that I'm about 16," I said, taking a drink of the wonderfully sweet beer.

"I have to meet this guy. Is it the same one you've been staying with since your mom visited the crazy house again?"

"Yeah. He has great connections so pretty much he can get a way with anything. As he says 'all you have to do is ask'."

Then she asked the question I knew was coming. "What is the guy's name and when can I meet up with him?"

"Well not tonight. I called you up 'cause he's out on the town with the guys. He probably won't be back until tommorrow or he'll stuble in the door drunk at three in the morning."

"To bad. I don't even know what the guy looks like and I want to meet him so badly. Though did you hear about this awesome party that is coming up this weekend? I heard Green Day's gonna be there," she said, taking a swig of her already empty beer.

"Yeah. I heard about it. I'm gonna go."

"OH MY GOD! You are joking! There is no way in hell you can get into that thing without and invite or without me. How in the name of hell did you decide to go," Adie said, finally calming down.

"Well I told you my friend has connections and he is gonna get me in. Plus I bet he could pick you up when we go. I mean that is if you want to come."

"What do you mean if I want to come? Of course I do! Besides I can meet your mysterious man. It'll be so much fun. Think about it. Your hot guy, your cute face, my charm, and to top it all off Green Day live! I mean what could be better? Well that and maybe if you were dating Billie Joe Armstrong!"

Trying not to think about what Adie said last we chatted late into the night. By the time we came out it was well past midnight and we had had a bit too many beers.

I got back into my car and headed home. Or at least the home I had know for the past few days. It was almost a week and there was no way in hell I was going home anytime soon.

Before I knew it I was home and crashed on Billie's couch. I was dead asleep for hours. That was until Billie Joe came home and he was pretty drunk.

And what I told Adie was right. The time was exactly three in the morning.
