Just One More Day, chapter 7

The sunlight shone through a gap in the curtains, I sighed and rolled over in my bed. Billie Joe was still fast asleep, I touched his cheek softly, I guessed he hadn't shaven lately beacuse it was rough. There was no way I would get back to sleep now, so I snuck out of the room quietly trying not to wake Billie Joe.

As I got downstairs I heard the faint murmur of the TV, I made my way into the living room to make sure Emma was ok watching morning cartoons.
'SOPH!' I heard a voice yell from behind me. I spun around surprised.
'Tre!' I cried running to give him a hug 'What are you doing here?'
'Well, I was gonna come and see if me and Mike can take Emma off your hands for the day, so you and Billie Joe can spend sometime together,' he explained grabbing a can of soda out of the fridge.
'Tre, that would be great,'
'Cool, Ok Emma lets go,' he said lifting her onto his shoulders, she squealed with delight.
'You be good now,' I exclaimed, giving her a kiss on the cheek, she nodded.
'Well, we'll be back around 7:30, we'll go to macdonalds or something for dinner,' Tre smiled, shutting the door behind him.

I don't think I've ever run upstairs so quickly.
'Billie Joe! Wake up!' I laughed jumping onto the bed like a little girl.
'What?' he looked at me as if I was mad.
'Tre and Mike have taken Emma out for the day,' I grinned stradling his waist and kissing him.
'Well, in that case...' he mumbled, rolling over so he was above me. He leant down and kissed my neck. It was so good to have him back, god, I missed him so much. Right now, it was just me and him, thats all that mattered.
