Welcome Back To Paradise (Sequel To Don't Look Back In Anger I Heard You Say), chapter 5
I felt confused. Did I still love Billie? I was the one who decided so why do I feel so bad now? I could still hear Whitner Houston singing si I ran over to the side table to find that it was radio, I turned it off and flopped onto the bed feeling even more confused. "But didn't we come here to forget it all? Not to look back in anger?" I said to myself.
"Are you O.K.?" a voice said behind me, it was Tre. I jumped around going slightly red.
"Yeah, I'm fine it's just all this murder stuff it's making me nervous."
"Are you sure it's just that?"
"Yes...no" I croaked.
"Didn't think so could it possibly anything to do with Billie?" I looked down I, couldn't deny it. I stood up and looked him right in the eye, why was I blushing so much? "I thought so," he said "oh yeah if it makes you feel any better I've always thought you were pretty." He started to walk out. It all made sense, that's why he teased Billie so much about me was he jealous and when he wanted to mosh with me that night I did it with Billie.
"Wait." I said he stopped.
"That's one of the nicest things anybody's ever said to me." I smiled. I went over and hugged him, he kissed my cheek. I felt that electric twinge down my spine, the same one as when we both tried to pick up the phone the other day, my woes about Billie suddenly melted and I felt a warmth inside. We both went back downstairs, hand in hand.
