When the ride was turned on I immediately stepped on the pedal and slamed right into
Tre's car, which made him, jump and laugh. Mariah hit my car. We kept hitting each other until the cars stopped moving and it was the other people's turn for the fun. We jumped out of our cars and met up at the exit.
"Ha ha Steph, you suck at driving!" Tre mocked.
"Because you hit my car and I got stuck on the wall... So shut up!" I said and slapped his arm.
"That was fun... What ride next?" Mariah asked. I shrugged.
"Let's wait for Billie first before we go look for one," I said as Billie came walking with his hands in his trouser pockets. We walked off to find the next possible ride that would amuse us. Just then my eyes caught sight of a mini roller coaster.
"Oh let's go on that one!" I yelled and grabbed Tre's hand. "Come on Tre!" I pulled him towards the ride.
"Hey shouldn't we wait for Billie and Mariah?" Tre asked while looking back.
"I want them to get a seat beside each other on the ride so you and me can talk alone," I whispered to him.
"Oh... About what?" He asked. I put my fingers to my lips motioning Tre to be quiet since Billie and Mariah were walking up to us. The line for the ride was surprisingly small so we got on it quickly. Mariah and Billie sat in front of us.
"So what was it that you wanted to talk about?" Tre asked me.
"I need your help," I simply said. Tre scratched the back of his head in a confused way. "I want to get Mariah and Billie together... "
"Oh... Do you think we should be budding in their lives?" He asked.
"Would it make a difference if I said that I know Mariah likes him?" I asked as the ride slowly started up.
"Really?" The ride started slowly going up into the night sky. I nodded and looked down. My eyes went wide. I swallowed hard. We were so high that the people on the ground looked like ants.
"Ah fuck... I hate heights... " I confessed as I focused on the sky.
"Then why did you choose a roller coaster?" Tre asked and smirked.
"I love roller coasters as long as I don't look at the ground," I said. Tre smiled and put his hand in mine.
"Squeeze my hand if you feel afraid," Tre said and kissed my cheek. I smiled.
"Tre that is so cute-ahhhhhhhh!" I screamed while the roller coaster rapidly went down toward the ground like a bullet. I squeezed Tre's hand with all my might. I always did hate this part in roller coasters.
I looked toward the front seat and Billie had his arms in the air. I looked over to Mariah. She was screaming with happiness with here arms in the air. Tre screamed for joy beside me.
"Hey look! Mike and Jessica!" Tre yelled pointing to his left. I quickly glanced for a quick second to see them playing one of the carnival games.

Mike threw the ball against the bottles as hard as he could and knocked them all down in one shot. Smiling proudly he grabbed the huge teddy bear and handed it to Jessica.
"Aw thanks Mike," Jessica said hugging the bear close to her. She went on her toes and kissed his cheek softly. Mike smiled and kissed her lips. He put his arm around her shoulder and walked her down the path.
"So where do you wanna go now?" Mike asked while looking around.
"Hm I dunno... Let's go look for the rest of the people," Jessica suggested. Mike nodded and with that they went to search.

The ride slowed down, as did our excitement. I let go of Tre's hand and jumped off the ride.
"Ow... You crushed my hand," Tre said while rubbing his hand for comfort. I put my hand over my mouth.
"Tre I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to squeeze your hand that hard," I apologized. Tre got him self off the ride and I grabbed his hand.
"Want me to kiss it all better?" I asked and smiled sweetly. Tre laughed. And pulled me into him.
"Nah you can kiss up here to make me feel better," Tre said pointing to his lips. I smirked and pressed my lips against his. Tre pulled me closer.
"Get a room," Mariah said with a smile. Tre and I parted and laughed. Billie looked at me and rolled his eyes. He kicked the dirt on the floor and walked away from us.
"Billie?" I said. He didn't answer he kept walking. Mariah and Tre looked at him with confused looks on their faces.
"Hey guys!" Jessica and Mike called and ran up to us. "Hey where's Billie?" Jessica asked.
"He just walked off... " Mariah replied.
"Steph where are you going?" Tre yelled as I ran after Billie.
Him and I disappeared into the crowd of people. I pushed pass the groups of people in order to reach Billie. I really wanted to figure out what was going on with him. I was going to get to the bottom of this.
I stopped running and looked around for any signs of him. I scanned the area until I saw a figure in the distance that resembled him. I followed him to the exit of the carnival. And there he was sitting on the curb lighting a cigarette in his hands. I approached him slowly.
"Billie?" I whispered to him and sat beside him. He looked away from me and focused his eyes on the many cars in the parking lot. "Billie what's wrong?" I asked and lightly touched his arm. He took a long drag on his cigarette and sighed.
"... Nothing... " He whispered and lay his arm on his knee. I let out an annoyed sigh.
"Billie it's not nothing... Why don't you look at me? Why did you roll your eyes when Tre and I kissed? Why have you been acting weird around me?"
"Because... I... I... " Billie stuttered. "This is hard to say but I... Um," Billie turned his head to me and looked into my eyes. His beautiful green eyes sparkled in the moon light in a way I have never seen them sparkle before. He dipped his head towards me.
I opened my mouth to say something but all went silent. My vocal chords weren't working it was like they were permanently frozen. I didn't want what I thought was going to happen take place. But my body was stiff. Billie softly pressed his lips against mine. My eyes went wide. This wasn't supposed to happen. What would Tre do if he saw us? What would Mariah do?
