Abandoned At A Green Day Concert, chapter 1

It all started when I was at work one day, at the Famous Footwear near my house. To my 'extreme' surprise, Billie Joe walked in.

"Hey, can you tell me where the Converse are?" he asked me.

"Yeah... right over there..." I pointed to them while gazing at Billie, somewhat star-struck.

"Thanks," he said, and then started in that direction. Then, he turned around and faced me again. "You going to the concert in Atlanta tomorrow?" he asked me.

"No," I replied unhappily. "I couldn't get tickets and my boss probably wouldn't let me off work anyway."

"Is your boss here right now? " Billie said with an evil grin following it.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Just...because..." Billie said, smiling even wider. "Take me to them. I need to discuss something with them. Very serious matters..."

"Oookay..." I said curiously, as I led him back to my boss' office. I told my boss there was someone there who needed to discuss something with her, and she told me to let them in. Billie walked in and closed the door behind him, and I went back to work.

*About 20 minutes later*

Billie emerged from the back of the store with a triumphant smirk on his face. He walked over to me and a huge grin covered his face. He leaned in towards me and whispered, "I'll have a ticket for you in the morning when I come back. See you then."

"Thank you!" I said, and with that, Billie walked out the front door of the store.
