What I Wouldn't Do For You, chapter 1
I'm guessing a good place to start would be right here, before I even knew who she was.
Her name was Larissa, and long story short, she was the most amazing girl I'd ever met.
She was a friend of a friend, but I wanted her to be something more. My friend introduced her to me, and I remember I couldn't take my eyes away from hers. She had beautiful blue eyes, but they seemed to change into a gentle green sometimes.
Before class one day, I was talking to my friend. He gave me a question:
"So, when are you going to ask Larissa out?"
I was taken aback. Mostly because this was out of the blue. "What makes you think I even like her?"
"It's kind of obvious."
"Do you think she noticed?"
"I'll just tell her to meet you after school." he said to me.
And we did. I called her when I got home and we talked for four hours straight about absolutely nothing. It didn't feel that way, just because it was with her.
I remember the first time we both kissed. It was at a party. We both couldn't take the heavy atmosphere and ran outside. It was cold, so I gave her my jacket. It was dark, so I held her hand.
We were in love, so we kissed.
I couldn't believe her. She was beautiful and smart. A combination I thought I would have to search the depths of hell for. And I would go there for her no matter what.
But she was also, I don't know what word to say. She always knew how I felt and what I was going to say even before I said anything. Like she was some kind of mind reader.
We shared many kisses, but none as special as that first one. I'll never forget that day.
But, she had some problems going on. She always felt like she was being used by somebody, and she thought I was using her as well. I was almost surprised that she thought this, because I had nothing but love and beyond for her.
To show her, I climbed up into her bedroom window one night with my guitar and sang her a song I wrote for her.
She knows now that I love her. But it isn't to say that all of our problems are over. My parents didn't want me going out with girls. Period. I wasn't allowed to leave the house. With no way to sneak out and all communication from her cut off, I was driving myself crazy.
But they let me see her. When she was taken to the hospital.
I don't really know what it was, but she was stabbed by another girl. Now all I can do is sit here and pray that she survives. Who would want to hurt someone so amazing?
SONG FOR LARISSA
The way that I feel
When I don't talk to you
Are like cuts the won't heal
And there's more coming too
I love you so much
It's an insult to say it
Because I love you so much
There's no way it
Could say what I really feel
So let me just tell you
I can't keep me eyes from you
And anything that I do
And everything that I lose
Doesn't matter when I'm with you
So if anything should happen
Just tell me what it seems like
And I'll come running
Because your dreams give me life
