Promises waitting to be broken, chapter 1
"Help me with this side," Victoria yelled.
"Ok, ok," Christina yelled back. Christina walked over and pulled the tent, so Victoria could put the pic in the ground.
"Thanks," Victoria smiled.
"No problem," Christina said. Jamie was at the other end sitting on the ground.
"Ugghh... Do we really have to sleep outside in this tent," Jamie whined.
"Ummm...YES! Do you wanna see my brother making out with his girlfriend?" Victoria asked.
"AHHH!! NO, I would be scarred for life...ok,ok I will survive the night," Jamie yelled.
"Thats what I thought," Victoria said.
After setting up the tent the three girls jumped in side and ate some of the last pieces of pizza that they had ordered. "I'm bored!" Jamie said.
"God! Stop complaining," Christina said.
"Ok lets not have a cat fight you pmsing bitchs," Victoria yelled back.
"Ok that hurt... you're the bitch," Jamie said.
"I was just kidding," Vicoria smiled back.
"So what can we do?" asked Christina
"Well there is always connect four," suggested Victoria.
"Umm NO!" Jamie said.
"Ok...well I got a good idea. Well it is almost the end of the summer, let's look back on the last year, you know, like the best and worst stuff that happened," Victoria explained.
"Well that sounds ok... I guess," said Jamie.
"Yeah so who is gonna start?" asked Christina.
"I will since it was my idea," Victoria said.
"Ok so what are you talk about?" asked Jamie.
"First day of school of course," Victoria said.
"Wow you remember well I guess, start," Christina said.
**Victoria's Point Of View**
"Of course I get the worst bus ever, all the preps and shit, God!" I said inside my head. The bus arrived at the high school and I got out.
"Ok find friends, find friends, nope preppy people, nope people who look like their gonna shoot me, ok here we go normal people," I said inside my head. "Where are they? Dont tell me they moved," I said.
"AHHHH!." Two girls jumped on top of me. I turned around to find out it was them. My two best friends, Christina Roberts and Jamie Note.
"Holy shit!" I yelled.
"Sorry we wanted to scare you and I think it worked," Jamie said laughing in between words.
"So how was Florida?" Christina asked.
"Boring, I only met one friend," I said.
"Oh... Well me and Jamie had so much fun at my cottage memories..." Christina said. I looked at her with a sad look, I hated when she talked about fun stuff that I wasnt there for.
"Fine I'll stop," Christina said.
"So are you guys coming over for my brother's band practise? Lots of cute guys. Haha I cant belive I just said that," Jamie asked.
"I cant, drum lessons," Christina said.
"I can," I said.
"K see you at four," Jamie said. And we spilt up, see we all have different classes. Well not much happened after I went to classes, Christna skipped some classes and we met for lunch me and Christna went out for a smoke then after we had some more classes.
So I headed over to Jamie's. "Hey!" Jamie said.
"Hey!" I said back with a smile on my face.
"So follow me downstairs," Jamie said and lead the way, as soon as we got down there Jamie's dad called her upstairs and he sounded kinda angry. So I went down and sat on the couch. Most of the guys there were trying to hit on me and it was kinda creppy. After a while I got kinda scared cause Jamie had been up there for like ten minutes. I walked up the stairs to her room.
"Jamie you ther -" I stopped myself. Jamie's dad was slapping her across the face and kicking her when she fell. I couldnt believe my eyes, was I dreaming? I rubbed my eyes. Nope I wasn't and I was scared. I tried to move but my feet felt like they were glued. Her dad made his way out of the room and I ran down the stairs and pretended to get a drink from the fridge.
Jamie came over and dried some tears from her eyes. "Whats wrong?" I asked.
"Oh my umm umm grandma died," Jamie stumbled.
"Oh are you ok?" I said. What was I gonna do? I couldnt tell her I saw all that. But now I regret not saying anything. I felt very uncomfortable, I told Jamie I would see her tomorrow and walked home. As I was walking I felt light headed, but I got home took a shower and ate and went to bed my mom was probabaly wondering why I wasnt saying anything.
