Best Roller Coaster Ride Of My Life, chapter 1
Today me and my two best friends Emily and Dominque were going to an extreme roller coaster park, called Magic Mountain. I guess I should explain each one of us...Dominque's about 5'8, dark brown hair, brown eyes, and just as crazy and random as I am. Emily's the responsible one, 5'7 blonde hair, and blue eyes. As for me, I'm Nikky about 5'6, violet/brownish colored hair, and eden eyes. I wear glasses, and lots of black eyeliner. And we're all 25.
As I drove down the freeway, I put the Bullet In A Bible cd in the cd player, and switched it to Holiday, being that each one of us loved and practically worshiped Green Day. We all sang quite loudly to it, and before we knew it, we were driving up Magic Mountain parkway. I pulled up to the gates, and paid $7 to park. We got there early, so we got a good spot and didn't have to walk that far to the entrance. In fact, we got there so early, the park wasn't even open yet. All three of us sunk down against a wall, waiting for the gates to open. There was hardly anyone else around, and Emily said,
''Is the place even open today?''
''I checked it out on the internet last night, and it said that it's supposed to be open.'' I said, I was the computer-addicted one. We waited some more, and more....and more. I fiddled with my Green Day wristband, which matched my Green Day shirt, the one with the dynamite. I rested my chin on my hand, and FINALLY the gates opened. We cheered, and ran to the guy that you give the tickets to. After we did that, there was pretty much nobody else there.
''So which ride shall we go on?'' Dominque asked.
''Let's go on Goliath.'' Emily said.
''Goliath it is!'' I said, we then ran over to the entrance. We ran through the maze of railing, and right up to the ride. Right as we got up to it, a train was just leaving the station, and I swore I saw Tre Cool, Billie Joe Armstrong, and Mike Dirnt on it. But before I could figure out who it was, it was already gone.
''Hello Nikky you still here?'' Dominque said, waving her hand in front of me.
''Huh what?'' I said snapping back into reality.
''You look like you saw a celebrity or something.''
''I think I did.''
''Really. Who did you ''see''?'' She used air quotes, and I said,
''Green Day.''
''Why would Green Day be here?''
''Well I don't know! They're humans just as we are, and I bet they like extreme coasters like we do.'' She shrugged, and we waited for the train to pull back into the station, since they only had one going. I saw it coming, and sure enough, Green Day was on it. I almost fainted, and Emily and Dominque actually did faint.
They got off, and Mike noticed that they fainted. He looked at me, and said while pointing to them,
''Are your friends okay?''
''Who knows.'' I myself was about to faint. Tre came up behind Mike, and said,
''C'mon dude let's go..'' His voice trailed off, as our eyes met. I tried looking away, but I couldn't. Emily woke up, and stood up and said,
''What'd I miss? Nikky hello?'' She waved her hand in front of my face, then hit me upside the head. Of course, I looked away and said,
''Ow what was that for?''
''Stop checking Tre out..'' Her voice trailed off, as Billie came walking up. She did the same thing, so I hit her upside the head and said,
''Forget it Emily. He's married.''
Dominque woke up, and said,
''What'd I miss? Holy fudge it's Green Day.''
''Really? Where?'' Tre said, looking around. We laughed and the controls guy said over the intercom,
''Excuse me, but are you ever going to get on the ride?''
''Oh!'' Us three said, then ran and got on it.
''I call dibs on the front!'' I yelled. Both Emily and Dominque preferred the middle for some reason, so I was by myself in the front.
''Umm sir can we get on again?'' I heard Tre ask the guy. I looked over, and he said,''Well I guess so, since there's nobody else waiting.''
''Hells yeah!''
He then ran over, and sat in the empty seat next to me.
''Hey.'' He said.
''Hey.'' I said, nervous. I looked back at Emily and Dominque, they looked jealous, since Mike and Billie sat in the very back. I stuck my tongue out at Emily and Dominque, and they glared at me. I faced forward again, and the train started to go. As it went up the drop part, Tre said,
''So what's your name?''
''Nikky.''
''Cool. I bet you already know my name!''
''Yeah.''
It got to the top, and I put my hands up, and it went down the 255-foot drop.
