The Mysterious Guy, chapter 20
I closed my bedroom door and went straight to my bed.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" I screamed with my head in the pillow.
"If I could only have someone to talk right now... Oh yes! Mike!" I said as I stood up and pick up the phone. "Wait... but. Mike is missing... FUCK I FORGOT ABOUT IT FUCK, FUCK, and FUCK" I ran downstairs to the street. I saw Billie walking down the street with his hands in his pocket.
"BILLIE!!" I screamed but hi didn't pay attention. "Come on Billie there's something I got to tell you, and it's very very important"
Billie stopped and turned around.
"So now you regret what you did." He told me
"No way, its way more important than that."
"HAH! What could be more important?" He said and turned around. "Bye" he started walking.
"The life of your friend." He stopped.
"Huh?" he gasped.
"Mike is in danger." I told him
"Are you seriously?"
"No I'm kidding... FUCK YES I'MM SERIUS. Since yesterday he's missing, I went to his home looking for him and he wasn't there, I heard that Adie said that he went to the supermarket to but some milk, but when I arrived to the supermarket I saw two very tall black men walking away with him, then they took him to the parking lot and pushed him inside a car and then I followed them and they went downtown, no to the nice downtown, the dark side of the downtown" I told him. He stared at me.
"and there is something very wrong about Adie, I was looking for mike and i saw her going into the bathroom, and i was sure it wasn't Adie, it was someone else, but then she dyed her hair, she put some make up on and contact lenses, and she was Adie! I can almost confess that it looked like a travesty."
Billie stared at me with his mouth opened, and then he started laughing.
"What... it. Is... so. Funny... " I asked disappointed.
"Aaaahh, my little Joel, you match too many movies." He said as he laughed
"But! Billie! You got to trust me!"
"Aaah yeaah and I'm Charles Manson."
"Don't be a bitch. You don't relieve me? So come and I'll make you believe."
I took him by the arms and we walked to Mike's house.
As we arrived there I saw the car where the black guys took Mike.
"Here, hide here behind these trees" I told Billie as I pushed him behind a tree.
"See! Those are the black guys I told you about." I told him as we saw two men walking out the house with Adie to the car.
"See! She's with them!" I said as they entered to the car.
"Aaah, it must be the agency Adie Works for, don't worry." Billie said as he got up. The car drove away.
"But! Mike!"
"Mike Hill arrive home, he is alright."
"How can you be so sure" I asked him
"If those guys are with Adie there's nothing wrong" he said as he opened the door.
"Yes there is something wrong, THAT'S NO ADIE!"
"Let me see, so, that "Adie" Is some sort of travesty or something and she's not the real Adie" he asked
"Yeah"
"And those guys took Mike away to the bad side of the downtown"
"Yeah!" I answered
"So Mike is in danger."
"Yes"
"Because you thing you are some sort of CSI and you followed that car and looked that Adie was acting strange and blah."
"Hm..."
"Goodnight" he said as he closed the door in my FACE.
"SCREW YOU; YOUR FRIEND IS IN DANGER WE MUST DO SOMETHING!" I screamed at the door and suddenly it opened.
"hey its not my problem that you are some psycho jealous child, I love Adie, and if you love me and you don't want me to marry her, to bad, cuz I'm marrying her, I didn't thought you could do something like this, create such a story so Adie looked bad and I don't marry her, so sorry, I'M MARRING HER." He screamed at me and closed the door.
"But... it is the truth... " I said as I sat in the door steps and put my hands in my face and cry.
"Ok mister 'I love Adie blah blah' I'll show you who she or he really is."
I walked to the back yard; I climbed a tree and jumped to Billie's bed room window. He was downstairs. I opened the window and stepped in. I went straight to the bathroom.
"Hmm hair color, make up make up, uh! How can Billie be so stupid and don't see this!" I said to myself as I looked aver the entire make up. "Aah! Here it is!" I picked up a little box and put it in my pocket.
"Let's see if you are the same 'Adie' when you came back without your eyes." I said and walked out to the window; I climbed down and walked to the front yard.
"Shit." I said as I stepped back, the dark car just arrived, I hide behind the wall.
I saw Adie coming out of the car with sunglasses on.
"Why is she using sunglasses in the middle of the night? Aaah right, she doesn't have her eyes. Haha, now you'll see Billie who are you marrying." I said to myself, I waited to Adie to walk into the house and for the car to drive away. Then I walked home.
